i have a new lover (2019) opinion
#have been listening to lover all day and there really are only 2 mandatory skips on the album#like the rest are perfectly listenable. the production on most of the individual songs is dogshit but the songs themselves aren’t bad#barring the two skips of course. which inexplicably are 2 of the 3 singles. taylor swift remains the worst judge of her own music#also london boy being Immediately followed by soon you’ll get better was a Choice#like… cannot think of two songs that should be further from one another in the line up. but whatever#just imagining most of these songs as ballads… or even just stripped… ohhh jack anton*ff is not seeing heaven#knowing what could be… the Paris recordings of cornelia street and dbatc…. the studio versions sound awful in comparison
