The angel had been alerted on his phone about a serious incident involving the hunter that he had grown to care greatly for not coming from a hunt that he had been involved in. It was the early hours of the morning, the city streets quiet and reserved, yet eerily so thanks to the mist that had settled in the city. This fog would complicate things, a scene out of a horror movie through which the lawyer had no fear of.

Batariel finally arrives in the area, calling out for Siu and getting no response. The stench of dead creatures filled his nostrils, making him pinch it for a moment before putting on his gloves, in case things would turn south in a quick moment. His eyes shift to a golden glow to aid his sight and to sense his beloved hunter, maintaining his composure as any good hunter would. His breaths were quiet, methodically slow as he loosens his tie.

"Siu! Are you here?" He calls out, but after doing so his angelic instincts begin to pound making his breathing faster as the adrenaline within his body began to flow. There was a life force, an incredibly powerful one. He wasn't alone, and it felt very similar to Siu's... and yet it felt so different, cold and deadly. "Siu?" He says one last time, bending his legs and standing his ground. Whatever emerged from this foul fog, he would do his best to stop. (Starter for @sourspices)

MY BEAUTIFUL MAN: ETERNAL (2023)

I want to show off my ACs. For reference I'm 2/3 of the way through my second run.

This is THE SLAB, my favorite AC that I usually default to. All about big explosive damage and tanking big hits. I enjoy the maneuverability of this leg, but sometimes switch to the big tank treads for more health. I have brute forced many a fight with this guy. My wife thinks it is ugly.

BATARIEL, my flying missile platform. I just fly up high and float around constantly launching missiles. It's not great against super speedy ACs, and utterly useless in enclosed spaces, but super fun to use. I think this one is my coolest looking AC.

And finally my newest build, GREEN KNIGHT. This is my melee focused build, and still needs some fine tuning. But the lance/pile bunker combo really wrecks when I can land it. I think the lance is the coolest weapon aesthetically. If you have any suggestions for the right hand and shoulder weapons let me know.

"Maybe I am feeling fluffy with a hint of spice, and look who's talking... You're just as handsome if not more." The angel whispers with a chuckle before gently kissing upon the thumb that was brushing over his bottom lip, even gently nipping and suckling on it as he runs his own hand over the cheek of Siu, giving the hunter a few gentle pinches with his thumb and finger. It was like the lawyer was in a trance when gazing so longingly into his eyes.

The question given by Siu though makes him grin before shrugging, "What do I want? If you're happy and content, then I am happy and content. It's a simple equation, I just want to make sure you're safe and happy, mister Siu."

Siu was feeling too content and lazy to do anything, he just allowed for his weight to rest a little more against the other before considering it, rolling them over so he could be the one on the ground. Fingers brushed his dark hair back as he looked at the other man. "What do you want? I am content right now."

He was looking up at Batariel because no doubt, the other man had plenty of thoughts and wishes in mind. "I guess, you aren't feeling ... how do humans call it ... fluffy right now?" That likely was the wrong word but who cared? His hand rested against the other's cheek, his thumb brushing gently over the man's lower lip. "Mh, you really are too handsome, you know?" he laughed,.

I realise I've never actually talked about Gabriel on here or on my other blog before but to expand on his bio on my docs a little bit, he was one of the most beloved Archangels in the Holy City and the reason that he has become so disillusioned about his place there and went to Earth was because of how two-faced and condescending everyone is, but he never saw it enough when he still had his wings to make a change.

In a battle with an Archdemon, while victorious in this fight, Gabriel had one wing cleaved apart while the other was ripped. It was due to this fight that Gabriel lost his standing and popularity within the courts and even after being given metal wings, was practically shunned by those that used to seek his council. In the Heavens, weakness is not tolerated, or at least in Michael's Heavens. Thus, Gabriel sought out his old friends, joining Batariel in the mortal world to see what it was like and whether he could use it as a place to detox from his seat above.

His fascination with Earth simply grew the longer he stayed there, to the point that Bate (who had become a lawyer) pointed him in the direction of ancient history and archaeology. And for the first time, amongst equally enthusiastic albeit much older human peers did he find the capacity of joy and acceptance once more. True freedom, an ideal that he wishes to carry home. That's if they even listen to him.

There were many supernatural beings that weren't of the species that Batariel was sent to wrangle and contain, and there were many that were also hunters like he. Over time, he had grown disillusioned with his own purpose that his new position as a lawyer and owner of a law firm had taken precedence over his duties, not that the council from on high cared; they had long since disregarded Batariel and had inadvertently forgotten about him.

As Lee Bitgaram, he was now the decider of his fate, and a chance encounter with another bounty hunter would soon capture his attention. He runs into the former guardian in the park, attracted by the energy emanating from the hunt that had started in this location and seemingly arriving at the end of it. A smirk forms as he approaches the hunter before folding his arms.

"You've encroached on grounds that fall under my jurisdiction, Siu." Bitgaram had already encountered these hunters before, watching them from the comfort of a distance before conversing loosely, the last chat was a bit cold but this time it was just the lone warrior. "You owe me the kindness of allowing you to hunt here, and since it's just you... Well, we'll have to think of a solution won't we." The angel leans forward, a finger rising to trail under his chin before pulling it back and chuckling gently. - Closed Starter for @sourspices

Inktober Day 28: Batariel

"Those upstairs are uncaring and pathetic, they've long since turned their gaze away from me so it does not matter." The Angel replies back with a certain bile and virulent bile, his disdain for his angelic brethren evident for his abandonment from his holy mission. It felt as if this whole ordeal of being sent to smite demons was all for him to be removed from the high heavens. He had always enforced the rules, ensuring that those of his ilk and his underlings would be as pure and innocent as possible, for it was his duty as an archangel. But alas, here he was trapped in limbo living a life that was never ending.

But it was that hearbeat and the teasing from the half-demon that turns that frown back into a small smirk, the bite on his bottom lip making him hiss before a hand wraps around that neck again to push Nix back against the wall, his nose gliding over cheek and ear, "And you think you can keep up with an archangel? The mightiest of the Lord's warriors?"

The words were sultry, surprisingly seductive for an angel and hypocritical. Perhaps, had he been more sinful and banished to the hells with the dark prince that day, he would've turned into a fallen angel of pure lust. Such an earthly sin to be influenced by and yet... It was the sin that Batariel had a weakness for. "What makes you worthy, Nix? Tell me and I shall give you what you desire, for I can feel the scent of desire off of you... The sin, cardinal one, of lust..."

Hypocrite, Batariel... Hypocrite.

There was a small grunt as his back hit the wall, a little bit of an ache when his head hit the brick too, but he didn't care, really. Not when the angel was right there in his personal space again, pinning him down and making his damn heart race. He was glad Wolf wasn't here, always pulling him up on when his heartbeat got out of time. He could only hope Batariel couldn't hear it, and gave a smirk. Definitely, pleasingly fun.

He was quiet, just watching what he could with Batariel that close, breath catching a brief moment when he felt his body start to press against him, closing off any chance of escape - and wasn't that just the icing on an already perfect cake. His next move was a risky one, but… Well. Nix wasn't a cautious little halfling.

He closed that gap, and in a quick, sharp movement, bit down hard on Batariel's bottom lip, only releasing when he was sure he'd dealt some level of damage, a drop of warm blood on his own lip as he grinned.

"Whatever the price, I can promise you that handing me over isn't worth it," he cooed, giving a testing little pull of his wrist, a press of his hips forward, "And I'm not an incubus… I just know how to have fun. How about you, hm? Or are you as uptight as the rest of them upstairs?"

headcannons for mori and batariel:

- batariel has badass wing tattoos on their back when they hide their wings

- mori has an apartment ( technically ) that he stays at sometimes and when batariel finds out ab this they FREAK out cause "how did you have a house and i didnt know??? i just thought you motel hopped all the time"

- when mori has to meet with the church, batariel insists on coming with him. this confuses the priests so much by seeing a literal angel in the temple

- mori doesn't eat a lot and batariel has taken notice of this. so now when mori goes without eating for like a day batariel sits him down and eats with him. mori finds this only slightly annoying ( especially when he is deep into a case )

Sylus found himself smirking, lifting his face from the pillow he had been moaning, or well, gasping into for the past minutes. "Actually." He looked over his shoulder, pressing his hips all the way back. "I would say I prefer for you to moan and whimper, telling me how I am making you feel best." A chuckle, while he was slowly fucking himself on the angels length. "Your whispering, it's okay too, little feather." But honestly, Sylus found himself enjoying this, a sweeter, slower take to the pace they usually went by, having Bate stop to ask for a preference. "I feel like I have to try harder.. to make you unable to be this quiet, darling." He tightened around the angel, just shortly, arms wrapping around the pillow to get just a bit more comfortable.

Well I finally finished AC6 NG++, game of the year for me for sure. I figured I'd post how my AC's looked by the end, and some of the ones I built for fun.

Here is my main three AC's, you may somewhat recognize them from my other AC post:

THE SLAB

The biggest change is the color scheme and legs. After finishing the first run I decided to give it a more weathered look, and I realized I liked the treads more that the car for the most part.

GREEN KNIGHT

I used this guy a ton on my second and third run. Once I got used to the lance/pilebunker combo I was wrecking everything in sight. The mini gun and drone helped with smaller enemies and keeping the heat on while positioning for melee.

BATARIEL

No changes to this dude. Looks cool and great long distance missile destruction.

That's all the AC's I actually used for missions, the rest of these I just built for fun:

NEPENTHES MKII

I just strapped the biggest lasers I could to this thing and fiddled with it until it worked. Very impractical but funny to use.

SWARM MASTER

I really wanted to use the little remote laser drones, so I went with a wasp motif. Actually somewhat effective, but runs low on ammo quickly.

BULLET HELL

All bullets all the time. Looks cool, only does ok in combat.

ABBADON

I wanted to make a demonic version of the angelic BATARIEL. This guy is all about close range ground combat. This one is super fun and quite effective.

SMOOTH OPERATOR

The design philosophy for this one was "What would a cool, cocky mercenary do?" So of course they have to have gold plated weapons, cool pants, and a fancy melee weapon. Since this one is only about looks I didn't even test it in a mission lol.

SANIC

And finally my silliest one. I made this to go as fast as possible while still having a weapon in each slot. It does indeed go fast, but also blows up fast haha.
