Padlock 8 The Mines - Applications Open!

We are now accepting applications for participation in Padlock 8! Padlock is a Big Brother-style Video-Based ORG hosted on discord that follows a week-long schedule each round to be an immersive experience as closely aligned to the beloved reality competition television series as possible.

For Season 8, the Padlock Mining Town will serve as home to a cast of adventurous gem hunters looking to strike it rich in The Mines, a labyrinth of cart tracks that will lead only the boldest of HouseGuests to fortunes beyond their wildest dreams. But be warned: a wrong turn could lead to something much worse than a dead end…Will you be our diamond in the rough this year and become our latest champion?

The game will take place from February 2 through April 13, 2024, with a myriad of break days throughout its 72-day run. Don't take an experience like this for granite! Let us be crystal clear: Padlock is a marathon, but one that is enjoyable, competitive, and exhilarating!

Yes and no. It's just on discord now! I don't think anyone on here has hosted yet this season but there are communities on discord who have games all year round.

I tried to host a game a couple weeks ago but didn't get enough sign ups. I want a way to drum up some excitement for these games again lol. I think I'm the only person still hosting them really but last couple years there was like 2 or 3 of us that would host. We need to bring bbdiscords back!

I still have 2, possibly open slots for my bbdiscord game tomorrow, Friday. I’m cohosting with the awesome @vetoslut​. If you think this season of BB sucks - and it does. :( Day deserved so much more - then you should absolutely join my game. The theme is Basic Big Brother with plenty of twists, unlike this season.

I played as Paris Hilton and won the game lmao. I joined two alliances which composed like half of the house, I was being too messy but thanks to screenshots and ratting people out left and right - I was able to make it to the end.

Played my first bbdiscord in years and went out 3rd partly cause I was a character from french cartoon and forgot to switch off invisible so some assumed I was an audience member and never talked to me so by the time I was nominated I was just kinda screwed so what I'm taking from this is remember to play someone people know and always check your discord status askdjskajxja

Anywho thanks to @knightjackie for hosting cause it really was a good game with a lot of of clever twists! It was really fun to play with everyone

The chart from BBFLIRTYSPY2! This game was a BB11 redo with all the same twists, which lead to a split house and LOTS of drama. Thank you to everyone who signed up and congrats to @candicestewart for winning and @juliechen for getting AFP!

Notes:

In Week 1, a comp decided 4 clique leaders, the Barbz (April, Rachel, Jackie) the Little Monsters (John, Lydia, Helen) the Swifties (Janelle, Britney, Natalie) and the Katycats (Jason, Kaysar, Mary Poppins)

In Week 5, the jury voted to give one houseguest a Diamond Power of Veto, they chose to give it to Helen. Helen used it that week to take herself off the block and put up Jackie, who went home that same week.

In Week 6, Janelle won the Battleback comp and returned to the game. There was also a Double Eviction that got April and Rachel out.

In Week 8, Janelle won HoH and was presented with a Pandora’s Box, she opened it and was unable to play in that week’s PoV comp which helped Lydia secure her win and take herself off the block.
