Being raised by the government didn't exactly have it's perks. He lost out on lost of "normal" childhood events. Things like playing videogames, baking and making a mess in the kitchen, going to the park. And your all time favorite, blanket forts.

While Keigo was off at work you managed to move all the furniture in a specific way in order to actually make the fort. Once the furniture was in place you started to throw blankets over the furniture making the actual fort. You even set heavier objects in some places to keep the blankets from falling.

Next you went inside and strung up some battery powered lights so you could see. You set up Netflix to watch movies, order chicken from his favorite restaurant, set up a next of blankets and pillows. And once all that was done the fort was complete.

Just in time, because Keigo finally arrived home just as you finished.

"Hey, Dovie, I'm-" he paused. "What's going on in here?" he asks.

"A fort!" you shouted in excitement.

"Why'd you make a fort?" he asks confused.

"I loved them as a kid and thought you'd like to enjoy one too. I got blankets and pillows inside so we can cuddle. We can watch a movie. I even got your favorite chicken."

"Dovie you had me at cuddle," he smiled.

Quickly he got into more comfortable clothes before climbing inside, being mindful of his wings.

Once both of you were inside you started the movie and ate your delicious chicken cuddled up with each other.

"This is so nice," he said with a smile. "I see why you like this so much."

"I thought it was nice to tap into your childish side a bit. I know you probably never did this as a kid, so why not start now?"

"You spoil me, Dovie," he smiled and gave you a kiss.

"You spoil me more it's only fair," you joke.

"Whatever," he rolls his eyes. "Now lets let back to cuddles!" he shouts pulling you closer to him.

"Sounds good to me!" you laugh wrapping your arms around him.

He really appreciated you, more than you'll ever know. Little things like this make him realize just how much you care. And boy does he love it.
