as some people know. I have pronouns. This is a dilemma
#i completely understand that it/its pronouns are not easy for strangers to just Use lol they dont roll off the tongue#theyre not really practical to go by in a school setting imo but now i have to pick a placeholder set of pronouns...?#instinct says they/them bc i wanna flag to other nb ppl that i am nb in no uncertain terms#but those like arent my pronouns so i feel like a little bit of self betrayal even figuring this out 😶 like I dont want to lie to people#so then im like maybe i should just use she/her and then when i meet someone i like be like listen. i have a secret set of pronouns lmaooo#because she/her is a much more common set of public facing pronouns if that makes any sense like a common mask#AND ONE LAST THING. i lowkey wish i could be brave and impractical and be Visible to cishets as someone who uses neos#bc like i wna be loyal to my nb identity and help normalize it a tiny bit ..... :/ but i know there are also queer ppl who#hate neopronouns bc they scare and bewilder their oppressors and make the community 'look bad.'
