I got so happy when I saw jyl...I don't list her as one of my favorite characters often but she honestly probably is, I adore her
#most of the fandom meets the very low bar of not vitriolically hating the female characters for stupid reasons#bc they don't perceive them as interfering w the m/m couples and also because they're just not super complicated characters#but I will take that. I have always preferred sexist shows with few female characters vs. sexist shows with a lot.#fewer girls to massacre </3#tho I do feel chengqing shippers must hate wq. they must#myu is probably the best female character imo but she's hated for good reasons and a lot of the fandom is weirdly defensive about her#best as in most complicated...tho wq is def up there. jyl's character makes sense but she's VERY underdeveloped#mm and a-qing are really cool and widely liked but that's kind of it for them. ugh I love a-qing so bad she was so fun#WHY COULDN"T LSZ HAVE AN IOTA OF HER FLAIR#anyway the female characters may get mischaracterized fridged and ignored but at least most people don't write paragraphs about how much#they hate them and how much they suck blah blah blah you should have seen the things they were saying abt winry from fma#cor.txt
