#robin buckley#stranger things#something something yet another thing that makes her feel ~different~#but shes undeniably proud to be jewish#also thinking about robin inviting steve over for hanukkah bc she knows how lonely he always feels this time of year#and its not the same as christmas but she knows how hanukkah makes her feel and she knows that she just wants steve to belong somewhere#so she opens her family up to him opens this side of her up to him#bc up to this point he knew she was jewish but he'd never seen her like jewish in action lmao#this is the first time#and he is so very respectful of it all#and so full of awe at the traditions robin and her family partake in#and when they invite him to join in#at the end of the night as robin and steve watch the last of the candles burn out steve tells her that the whole night was really lovely#and he knows its only one celebration but he likes this one and he understands judaism a little more now#and he tells her that hes glad she has that#and it touches robin how sincere he is about her religion her culture her identity#and she just thinks to herself that she really is the luckiest girl to have such a good person as her best friend
