Reading the newest Twitter/TikTok review bomb massacre on Goodreads like
#im not condoning some of the dumbassery of these people#but review bombing an unreleased book is just a foul thing to do#yes I want to know if the author sucks#but sometimes it’s like innocuous shit or newbie mistakes or just mediocre writing#and people lose their minds like the author is a murderer#leaving a one star review with a link to a twister thread should be automatic ban from goodreads#we can’t vet who has read what to verify a review is legit#but it’s obvious who read the book & have meaningful commentary & who thinks bullying is activism#all of you go outside work in a soup kitchen volunteer at an lgbt center get some perspective#bc you’re not finding it on BookTok & Twitter & Goodreads just stop#you’re not a reader you’re a bibliophile who thinks an angry reaction makes you less bigoted than someone who wrote a book#okay I’m done lol
