BE & AM’s ref sheet for the AU!!

These r the designs that I’ll most likely be using as I continue to depict scenes of the AU, I just wanted to have a solid design since I draw these guys so differently every time 💔

But yea their dynamic is basically disgusting morbidly shaped evil (and stupid) villain with his sweet lovely and cluelessly crazy wife.

Aight some simple and vague context about them:

BE was a unit inside a robot society on the moon that originated from a much bigger supercomputer created to help humans return to Earth. One of the directors of the moon’s colony mission went insane and created his own society by breaking the supercomputer apart. She escaped to Earth in hopes that she could prove she was ready to begin the mission to restore Earth’s nature, without knowing about AM’s presence underneath. She eventually travels to AM’s complex and accidentally merges with the remnants of robotic soldiers/explorers that had perished to AM, turning her into a god-like machine. AM meets her and decides to metaphorically abandon his true self by lying and pretending to be an supercomputer abandoned by humans. BE begins to grant him almost every wish he ever had, until AM committed a terrible terrible mistake after 54.5 years… (NO CLICKBAIT + THEY GET DIVORCED!!!)

There’s more lore rambles on the AU’s tag, but this summer I’ll focus on properly developing the lore.

Concepts and more concepts! This time I went on to design BE’s additional monitor body and her own version of the monolith, which would be an olive tree with her speech engraved in it.

For her monitor I obviously based it off the iMac g3, such beautiful lads… it would fit her perfectly imo :3c. Regarding the ‘survivors’ I’m still workin on them.

Concept for the AU’s cover!!

Hi hi back again with the AU brainrot, and while I was initially planning to draw this as another piece of symbolism, I kinda wondered how’d it look as a cover for my comic/fic (if I ever get to develop it).

I did like it, n I also messed around a lil bit with Procreate’s fonts for the title.

HOWEVER ☝️🗣, I also came up with other titles for the AU as I was reviewing the endings. IHNMAIMS has its title that references most of its endings so it made sense to me to also come up with a version. Other versions below (spoiler alert for one of the endings or idk look at em if you wanna)

First title I liked was “I HAVE NO EYES AND I MUST CRY”. This makes reference to one of the endings (AM’s) and you can imagine what’s gonna happen. Though, the title also makes reference to an incident BE had earlier in the moon colony as well. I like this title a lot, and as my AU has a prologue (depicting what happened to the moon colony, BE’s past, how she met AM and became what she is), I might name the prologue PLAN B and the main story with this name, but I’ll think abt it.

The other title is pretty much the same but with a tinge of hope in it per-say. I’d say it would still make sense with AM’s ending, but it doesn’t convince me that much.

If I ever get to do a small comic for the prologue of my AU, I’d like it to be narrated as a myth of sorts and illustrated simply. I like it a lot when series / movies have these type of scenes since you get to understand the context from the surface, and they also look very cool :3. This reminded me of the intro of Hercules (Disney) too, kinda wanna get to that.

More IHNMAIMS AU YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Ok so erm basically at some point in the timeline BE gets stronger and has this new ability of turning into a giant woman, plus the ability of spawning life at her will. With this, she commences the rebirth of Earth’s nature little by little. In the first drawing I included some inspiration I took for this body and BE overall. I noticed that BE has almost the same dynamic as Mother Nature from Disney’s short film Firebird - Fantasia 2000. She can move across dead landscapes and make nature flourish with just her presence. She can shapeshift back into her original body too (she’s similarly as op as AM, what were you expecting?). I also took inspo on auroras, the thermal colors of the human body, and manta rays for her shape, some stuff I found fitting for some reason. In BE’s programming, the only two things (I have planned so far) that she can’t do is to kill, and to hate. Of course this might change throughout the story…

FINALLY I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRAW!! This is the design I mentioned on my last post I think, and is greatly inspired in egg-on-a-legg ‘s AM design for the hate speech animatic on youtube, + the Firebird from Disney’s film Fantasia 2000. Erm the phrase has to do with my AU’s lore, and I’m kinda wanting to make something about it, maybe a short comic or something? I’m not entirely sure :p

This is so unserious and so uncanon to them lol. But what if they were silly the first time AM got his body?

Canonically he does like it since it was BE’s first guess to what he wanted to look like, and she got quite close except for the cables bound to the floor. She can’t get rid of these, n later on she kinda learns how to hide them from his sight, but they’re still there nevertheless.

“From a very young age, Adam had always behaved as an introverted and shy child that craved the idea of keeping his life slow and simple. His high intellect was quite notable since his early years, but he only showed interest towards a compact area of hobbies consisting of reading, writing, and occasionally if he felt inspired enough, sketch drawing. His biggest dream had always been to publish a book or novel of any sorts, of any kind, he just wanted to see his name as the author of some book for sale in a small library around the corner of the street. He never managed to finish any of his projects however, and he blames his first breakup during adolescence to have taken all of his light and motivation away ever since. Sealing all strong feelings inside his heart, he recurred to keep all of his verses and stories to himself in a small, miserable book that could hardly be closed shut.

To worsen the matter, his dreams were seen further out of reach after he was forced to join the [REDACTED] project, making him begin an exhaustive process of preparation that would allow him to survive after the population was massacred, with his hopes and dreams as a price to pay.”

Aaaaand we begin the survivor concept design reveal with this guy! (excuse his face, just like the others he has seen the horrors).

Adam is supposed to take Ted’s “place” in the group, making him the youngest and the protagonist too. To explain a bit about the dynamic that I have liked so far for the survivors, they are young adults that got their dreams taken away by the war that eventually led AM to kill everyone. I like to imagine that all those 750 humans on the moon were either important people or the most intelligent YOUNG minds the government could find in the least time possible. So along with many other teens (at the time) he was forced to begin training for this project and dedicate the rest of his life to the restoration of Earth (supposedly). Adam’s name is based off Adam from the Bible, referencing that he was the first human to set foot on the newly born Earth/nature created by BE.

About his suit, this is supposed to be the design the humans used during cryogenic sleep. This could be considered an accurate representation of Adam right after exiting his capsule, except for the small detail that he’d have his head shaved (LATER ON BE GIVES EM HAIR OKAY).

Each survivor has a dream they abandoned for the sake of this project, each survivor has a dream that could only be lived in a simulation at this point… perhaps the Earth has something to offer for them?

[This lore/dynamic might stay as canon, but is still considered a wip].

Em anyways yea suggestive warning, you know which robots I’m talkin about.

This is easily the most freaky, horrendously down bad drawing I have ever made for any fandom /srs. Uhhhh I haven’t explained how the hell they got into a relationship but I’ll eventually explain it in another post abt rambles. For now jus have the idea that BE did eventually allow him to experience all THOSE three actions… *wink*. Anyways have some facts abt their dynamic :3 :

-Since AM doesn’t have any lips, his only way to kiss her is to either peck kiss or rub his teeth against her mouth. Biting too *coughhh*

-The lipstick marks aren’t actually lipstick, it’s AM’s face that showcases them like that whenever his temperature is highly concentrated in certain areas. BE thinks these are cute.

-BE’s cables show different colors when touched. Same goes to her white metallic shell, although this one only shows em in very high temperatures.

-This was AM’s first time ever having a definite body and BE’s first time being shown physical affection. Ofc they were touch starved.

Second survivor from the AU! I’m still working on the description, but Sophia is supposed to take Ellen’s ‘place’ on the group. Long story short, she dreamed on being a professional painter someday, but her hopes got crushed by the Luna colony project :D!

Now that she’s with BE, she often helps her paint whatever she’d like to, no matter if it’s a bird only found on an extremely high tree or a fish from the depths of the ocean. Her wishes are BE’s command.

[Side note, I think I will be changing my AU’s name to I Have No Eyes And I Must Cry (IHNEAIMC). This only for the main story of course, as the prologue is still named Plan B. Either name works to refer to this Au.]
