Story:   

When his entire Clan of twnety-three others cats grew incredibly depressed and sick with greencough or pained with broken bones, Creaturefall took over every single duty.   

He collected herbs and treated patients when others couldn’t, he made sure everyone had water while they were bed-ridden. He did all the hunting, rationing out the food. He took care of his mate and raised their kits while she was recovering from the illness. 

Because of this, Creaturefall grew incredibly thin. He got weaker and weaker until he finally collapsed, exhausted. And his Clan, now healing, came to his aid to help him. 

Creaturefall got older, fell in love with Cocoapuffpelt, and they had more kits. They raised them all together as one big family. 

Harvesttooth, his best friend, was struggling with wanting kits but not wanting to have a mate. So, Creaturefall acted as her donor, and she raised the kits.   CreatureFall became more of a cool uncle to them, and he even ended up having many great-grandchildren! 

He retired before he became deputy, having watched the burden of leadership claim two leaders before him.  He had already carried the Clan for years while the leaders couldn’t, and he wanted peace to play with his family.   

Eventually, he was killed by rogues while he was collecting herbs with his mates.  

Well, Creaturegall thought this was the end, and he would have peace in Starclan. He did--for about a year.

Bleeding Tooth fungi started growing on his grave. Rumours spread that he was in the Dark Forest, and his heart ached from Starclan. The mushroom would die, and this would go away. The hurtful tales would stop.   

Bearfur always hated her kit, Rockkit. She never wanted him. When Rockkit was asking “too many” questions about the Clan, she snapped. She killed the kit, leaving his body by the mushroom and left.   

It was assumed by the Clan that it was because of him! The Clan raged and complained, with the new Starclan residences even attacking him and chasing him over the Dark Forest border.

--In their headcannon, in Starclan, you appear in your prime, so he looks like when he was younger, while he was providing for the Clan before he had kits.  

--Bleeding Tooth mushrooms are considered a curse. The medicine cats could only argue so much in his favour, and a couple generations later they made up stories of him being a serial killer, a kit killer, a monster.

MOORCLAN MENTORS- TOUGHCLAW, CHIRPSONG, BEARFUR

Toughclaw is a stoick stern warrior who mentors Shortpaw. He’s very buisness, and strong in the ways of a warrior. He constantly teaches shortpaw how to be strong, how to do your best for the good of the clan. Not a super friendly guy.

Chirpsong mentors Redpaw. Chirpsong is a wishy washy woman who still finds ways to give excuses for not mentoring redpaw. She says she has “other important buisness” that just looks like laying around and talking to shortpaw (she wishes he was her son). Her and toughclaw used to have a relationship, but they fell apart because Toughclaw didn’t show love, and Chirpsong didn’t give it. Flakey.

Bearfur is an absolute UNIT, and he mentors Jackalpaw. While bearfur is huge and strong, and teaches Jackal how to show strength, Bearfur is a truly loving warrior. He loves to dogpile with all of the apprentices, and taking care of more casual warrior duties. While he’s an excellent teacher when it comes to strength and fighting, He also stresses the importance of gentleness towards your fellow clanmates. Since Chirpsong is a terrible mentor, He often takes Jackal and Redpaw out for training together, and after the tragic death of Jackalpaw, Redpaw is given to him to mentor full time.

“Nico...?”

Nico looked up with hum when he heard his boyfriend’s voice, his face brightening when he noticed the teddy bear hanging from Thomas’s grip and the paci dangling from it’s clip.

“What’s up, little guy?”

Thomas switched his weight from foot to foot nervously, then hugged his teddy bear to his chest.  “Can we watch ‘toons?”

“Of course!”  This part of their relationship was still new, and Nico understood why Thomas was so nervous.  He hated that the poor guy felt so nervous, but it would also be a lie to say he himself was cool as a cucumber about the regression too.  “Do you want anything else...?” he asked, figuring there was more to it than just cartoons.

Thomas squeaked and held his bear up to his face, mumbling into the fur.

Nico snickered and took his boyfriend’s hand.  “Thomaaaaaaas, I can’t speak Bearfur-ish.”

The regressor huffed and lowered his bear, then his head.  “Can you fix me a bottle, too...?”

“Of course.”  It was such a small thing, but it was a big deal to the little.  Nico fixed a bottle of warm milk, then joined Thomas on the sofa for a Steven Universe marathon.  Thomas rested his head on Nico’s shoulder, drinking down his milk sleepily.  And both of them couldn’t help but think nothing else would feel more right.

so I’ve seen several people and even the wiki say that in bojack it’s heavily implied that her stepfather abused her??

I rewatched the show several times over the years and i guess it always flew over my head...

1) kid sara lynn saying her stepdad is acting weird on the horsin around set:

I never thought much of that... I thought that maybe her stepdad was just “new” to her and kids frequently don’t like their stepparents even if they’re nice. + she ahs always been super starstruk with bojack so i thought it was just an excuse of hers to get into his room...

2) later when she’s an adult she mentions that she knows what bearfur tastes like

also never registered that as a sexual implication bc I grew up with animals so I’m used to inevitably get some fur in my mouth when they shed and it flies around or when i cuddle them, it’s just what living with animals is like. so i thought that sara lynn saying that was just a joke implying that living with humanoid animals is just the same, that they also shed a lot.

so ugh yeah... I kinda see were people are coming from but I also hope my interpretation is right^^” like that would be extremely crass even for bojack if that was the case. also i don’t think they would have portrayed the stepdad as sympathetic and caring during the oscars when sara lynn was missing if he indeed molested her. like characters in the show are usually pretty conistently portrayed as douchebags if they are indeed sketchy. besides she never said anything besides those two instances to imply that, I think it would’ve been made clearer if it was the case?

idk what to other people think? edit: hmm ok i read a bit more about him and yeah being a photographer and homeschooling sarah lynn isn’t a good look... apparently he was also designed after a creepy photographer who was a rapist?

damn, did the writers really have to torture sarah lynn that hard? still kinda don’t want to believe that tho :I

A loyal warrior of clawclan, His ear was completely torn off in a fight with a fox.

He is happy and always telling jokes, though he is the ‘ happy old man’ type you dont want to cross him in battle. He is an amazing fighter, he has had 3 apprentices , all successful warriors. Though he doesn't want to admit it, the years are getting on him and he will have to be an elder soon. 

The mighty stories he will have to tell the kits and apprentices.. none could count them all.
