damn do u guys remember lok that could've been such a good show if they got rid of the genuinely unbearable straight boy sidekicks and horrifically liberal politics lol

#korra was such a great character. the adults were all rly interesting too. the dive into the spiritual side of the world was also rly cool #beautiful animation with young adult protags. such a rarity #damn what a neutered ass show #remember when in like episode 1 they showed the stark clash between traditional culture and modernization #and then proceeded to... not address that conflict at ALL.......#even with scenes of electricity benders exploited to power factories lmfao #actually the one good thing they did re: this conflict was have korra tell ppl they gotta learn to coexist with the spirits
