毎年秋にドイツ・ニュルンベルクで開催される産業用制御システムの展示会「SPS IPCDrives」は、多くのメーカーが最新の技術コンセプトや製品をこぞって出展することから、生産ラインの将来像を見通す場としても活用されている。2016年の同展示会で日本からの来場者が多数訪れていたのが、ドイツBeckhoffAutomation社のブースである。来場者のお目当ては、同社が開発を主導する「EtherCAT」の技術動向だ。 http://dlvr.it/NFFN5Q
