     As she traversed the city, the wistful side of Cordelia had urged her to enter this towering bookstore, its shelves laced with titles decorated in bright, detailed colors that she couldn’t have imagined in her own realm. She was simply transfixed — and as she approached the farthest reaches of the store, one book in particular demanded her attention: The volume’s front cover displayed a concerning image of a man’s bare torso, a desperate woman clinging to his side. 

     Was this... allowed? She removed the book from the shelf out of pure curiosity, taken aback by its blatant presence in such a public place. But as she turned it over between her hands in hopes to learn more, it suddenly became clear that someone had arrived beside her — and she haphazardly placed it back on the shelf, praying to whatever gods had brought her to Spirale in the first place that the stranger hadn’t noticed.

     “Ah! — I will get out of your way. It seems I’ve wandered into the wrong aisle. I... was simply fascinated by these bold choices of design.”
