#before the world cup happened everyone was talking about boycotting and not broadcasting and all that stuff#and now everyone here is like 'omg look at the morocco wins'#I guess it was all performative because people knew the dutch team would go anyway and national tv would broadcast it anyway#maybe it's because I think football is boring anyway but I really don't get the 'journalistic value' argument#like you could just mention who won in the news
