when talking to my clients: I know it’s tough, but the only way to make friends is to put yourself out there!
when talking to myself: if it’s meant to happen, it will. in the meantime I will sit here and do nothing and hope someone notices me.
#clown hours#being a therapist with moderate MH issues doesn’t quite exemplify ‘those who can’t do teach’#but there’s a certain resemblance in that a lot of their unhelpful coping strategies are things I’ve done in the past#or things I’m currently trying not to do#like I can recommend getting consistent sleep all day long#but my dumb ass is still running on 6 hours or less most of the time
