I have been feasting! Trying out BlakGarlik butter and olive oil ❤️😇 They are great on their own or cook, bake, roast or BBQ. The use is also versatile— Dollop on roast chicken, saute with shrimp, serve with corn, roast with potatoes, add it to pasta, brush on grilled vegetables or drizzled over salads. Spread on toast or cream crackers, dollop on top of pancakes or waffles, or add it to mashed potatoes. In my effort to support local I stop ped by a roadside fruit seller yesterday. Me: I want ripe pisang berangan 🍌🍌🍌 Seller: This?🍌 Me: Eh, not nice! Seller: Sure nice. It 's from local village.. Make cake guarantee good. Only RM6 same normal price. 😇😄 On second thought. Why not support local iproducts & micro businesses instead of letting the banana go to waste. Me: OK. I buy 😅🤗👍👍👍 Pisang berangan: About 10 to 12cm long, these bananas are also called ang bak chio, which means red-fleshed bananas in Hokkien. They have a pleasing acidity and slightly dry, starchy texture.
