Happy BFSN! Can y’all believe this is the last one ever?? I can’t. For the longest time I dreaded the day The 100 would be over, but right now I can’t help but feel relieved it’s all coming to an end and I can honestly say I won’t miss the show much (who am I kidding I’m gonna be a mess tonight I’ve already started drinking), but I will definitely miss BFSN, the live blogs, the reactions, the theories and, most importantly, every single one of you that made this fandom one of my favorites to be a part of.

To the content creators, y’all are blessings in disguise. Thank you all so damn much for creating and sharing and just bringing so much joy and entertainement to the fandom.

Happy bellarke fam selfie night. Bellamy is back and I managed to wrangle my photos into order. Sometimes I have such a hard time getting my icloud to work and I can’t find any photos. Here’s a black and white photo i did last week or so and here’s my library turned into a homeschool, because I’m not sending my kids back to that germ factory and their education SUCKS. omg you should have seen my eyes pop out of my head when they told me what they were told in health (sex bad drugs bad. that’s it.) and how my daughter never knew why she got Cs and her teacher never told her what he expected or said what she was missing. UGH. Florida public schools are THE WORST. So now I’m homeschooling and I am honestly not sure I have the energy for it, so we’ll have to manage. At least they’ll get a better education. 

Anyway, I am super excited for Bellamy to come back. I shoulda posted this before, but my days are a little crazy right now and this takes forethought. no tags because i don’t have that much forethought and i have to make dinner now before we are late for The 100 at 8pm. We can’t have that.

I got into this show and the fandom right after the season 2 finale aired (which was a kinda crappy time to join ngl due to ship wars. But the FIC. The fic was AMAZING in 2015). I want to thank everyone for being the best thing I got out of this show. The kindness y’all have shown me has been incredible, and though our hearts were broken, we got through it together. 

Special shoutout to Maggie, whose artwork is now proudly hanging in my apartment. I can’t imagine not getting the chance to meet and get to know you. Hopefully one day I can come visit you in PA or you can come to Texas!

I hope that tonight brings y’all peace, and that you continue to be inspired by Bellarke through fics, edits, etc. (s1-6 Bellarke. Idk a s7 Bellarke unless it’s AU). Long live Bellarke! They’re ours now and Jason can no longer hurt them :)

I haven't done this in a long time, but since today is the last episode, I decided I had to finish it all properly.

Seven years ago I fell in love with this show. The characters, the story, its potential and although over the years it brought me a lot of disappointments, it also brought me a lot of wonderful moments and memories. And because of Bellarke I met with so many wonderful people, and for that I will always be grateful. For me, the show ended with the sixth season. (The seventh, was too frustrating, pointless, illogical, and painful to be mentioned at all) But no matter what, I will always remain a Bellarke fan and I will always believe in them. Once Bellarke - always Bellarke!

I honestly haven’t seen this season because life is busy but I have watched the 100 since the very first episode, I grew up with these characters, I grew with them. I woke up this morning, like any other day and I checked my phone to see a text from my friend for me to check Twitter, and there it was; Bellamy Blake, a character I idolized, a character I felt so emotionally connected and attached to, dead. In the most disrespectful and just overall horrible way possible, and man it hurt I haven’t cried over a show in so long but I sat there and i felt my heart break over a show I haven’t watched in over a year. And the only thing that comes to my mind when I try to process this is

Hello! Been a while, hasn't it? It's getting evening here in Belgium and while I'm winding down I wanted to come on here quickly to tell you to enjoy tonight!

I've been thinking a lot about how and when I joined the fandom 4 years ago and while I'm kinda glad the show is ending (I love these characterd but a good story ends with a clean finish) I'm gonna miss the part of tje fandom where we come alive for half the year and be really supportive of each other.

Whelp, this is it fam, the beginning of the end!!!!!! Honestly, I really don't think it's hit me yet that this is actually our final season, I've been kicking around in this fandom since sometime during s2, which means that by the end of s7, this show will have been a part of my life for close to six years, I remember reading the books during the hiatus between s2 and s3, I joined Tumblr during the dark days of s3 and I'll be honest, certain people almost ruined the show for me, until I learned not to give a fuck and enjoy things on my own terms, I've bonded with many of you guys as a result of our shared obsession with this show and Bellarke, I've stayed up until 2am reading fic, written fic of my own, I've yelled, cried a fuck ton, laughed and generally just felt all the things while watching new episodes and of course, I can still pinpoint the exact moment I started shipping Bellarke (the tree scene in Day Trip, in case you were wondering)...anyway, I don't want to get too overly emotional here (I'll save that for the actual series finale), but I guess what I'm trying to say is that this show and this fandom have been a huge part of my life for a long ass time now, The 100 and the Bellarke fam were my escape during a very dark and difficult couple of years and I know that letting go is going to be hard af, that being said, I am so excited for this season and I can't wait to take this final rollercoaster ride with you all, once more unto the breach, friends!!!!!! 😘❤

Happy BFSN, peeps!

What can I say? It's been a while since I've participated in BFSN and since then, things have gone wild! Be it in my own life or on a global scale, there are so many challenges everywhere that it's easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer neverending amount of it.

However, I'm certain we'll get through this like the fighters we are. Battered and bruised maybe probably but alive, and stronger and wiser.

I hope everyone is well, safe, and healthy, and you all stay that way, and that us coming together at least once a week gives everyone at least a bit of normalcy.

To help with that, have those lucky dwarves in my photo as a charm! I encountered them on my bicycle tour in the middle of the forest the other day. Thinking about all the possible Whos and Hows and Whys this curiosity came to be, they made me smile all the way back home. And I hope it brings a smile to you, too. :)

Happy (??) BFSN y’all. At first I wasn’t going to post today but then I realized I haven’t posted in a while and BFSN is much more of a way for us to talk and check in on each other than anything else, so here I am, checking in on everyone.

I know last week was unexpected and shitty and made a lot of us completely give up on the show/the fandom, but I for one have been trying to focus on all the good The 100 has brought me, all the good moments and friends and fics. I’m gonna stick it out and watch it until the finale, if anything just so that I can own it when I complain about how bad it was (that and I don’t give them views because I pirate stream it anyways).

Other than that, I’m doing ok, I’m nearing 200 days of quarantine, which is absolutely insane to think about, but yeah, I’m pretty much still stuck at home, still trying to find a better, full-time job, taking online classes and playing gartic every other weekend with my friends through video chat (drunk gartic is the best 10/10 I recommend). A cool thing with my classes is that I started a new one on Eduactional Neuroscience that I’m finding really interesting and I think this might be the area I wanna pursue my masters in, which was something I was sorta lost on before. While that is going well, in French we have this new guy that istg he’s the walking definition of a generic old, white, cis dude whose favorite hobby is mainsplaining - he has tried to mainsplain a Mexican tradition to a Mexican girl, a Jewish holiday to a Jewish girl, and today he “””explained””” transgenics to a veterinary who does that for a living and, well, me, a molecular biologist. Why are men like this, honestly??

Happy BFSN. I’ve had some issues. Namely my computer is about to explode (the battery is inflating) so I can’t use it. I’ve switched back to my old computer (I call her Granny Smith, since she’s an old apple,) which is creaky and the keyboard is dead and the hard drive is totally full... but I can’t access my icloud or files right now. SO I thought I’d find an old photo I took almost three years ago when I still had long hair (it’s now just below my ears) and I’d died it blue for our spacekids finally back on earth (that’s right this pic was during s5.)  I don’t think I’ve ever shared this crazy hair pic so enjoy. 

I’m also now homeschooling my kids and it’s A LOT more exhausting than I thought. On top of that, I’ve got another ghostwriting gig so I’m going to be writing about four hours a day. I may be slower than normal with getting asks answered because of this, but we’ve got a break coming up, so I’m guessing I will have time to make it up. If something dramatic happens on the show, don’t think I’m silent on tumblr because of that. It’s simply that I’ve got a shitton of work to do. And I must rest sometimes or I collapse and can’t get out of bed.

Long time no see! To be honest, I moved away a bit from Bellarke fandom, but that was only because the drama in some other fandom consumed me. That's why I have no idea what to expect from the season. The only thing I know is that Bellamy was missing from the trailer. Now that the season is starting, I am more than ready to jump on the Bellarke boat again (my ships are for life, once Bellarke - always Bellarke) and let's hope for happy journey.
