@ not lying anon : when you're inventing something that didn't happen and present it as something that did happen = lie. Pure and simple. Nothing cultural about it. Let's not slip into Trump Land Values here where MM slayed bigly all on her own in the middle of the raging L.A. riots and the bushes on their front porch were burning while she was penning impassioned letters to world leaders -_- If you portray a feeling, which is a subjective thing, in a different nuance, fine. It’s not as bad as lying about writing the letter and being on television or saying you graduating when you didn’t, but, yes I think it’s lying.

And she does it all the time. The India trip was hyped as she worked on it for six months and set the agenda and crap, and, c’mon, you showed up for a photoshoot. It’s nice that you’re giving them some publicity, but you did not set up a girls’ program in India all by yourself. Get real. 

I don’t see why she does that. It must be some kind of deep insecurity or something. She has real achievements. She could have played that Nick News appearance straight and would have been great. She could say Communications. She could say she was humbled and grateful for the opportunity to be inspired by the wonderful work being done by others in India. It still sounds good.

But, no, she has to be the star. I think Camilla really nailed it there.
