Apparently this is a controversial opinion but who gives a shit what people spend their own damn money on?
#tumblr blue check mark drama#unpopular opinion (?) time#‘Oh but what about [X donation thing that will bring moral purity] why didn’t they just donate to [X cause or Y charity]?#they’re evil and morally bankrupt for not giving money to [X problem]#like who cares what someone else does with their money as long as it’s not hurting others#the ‘WHAT ABOUT X?!?’ arguments are tired and old#not everyone wants to donate to someone else’s cause no matter how noble it is#no one is OBLIGATED TO ANYWAY#besides if you’re so morally pure and righteous why aren’t you spending all of your disposable income helping others?#why are you complaining instead of helping others in need if your so worried about it#like I get where that side is coming but seriously who cares you can’t make anyone donate to [X good cause thing]#and guilt tripping others about ain’t it
