Yes this is what Miss Joy loves to do build and create! Write the songs, choreograph the dances, rehearse the kids, rehearse Santa and the guests, dress the set, create the costumes, dress the kids, get the music, get the sound ready, pump up the kids, get everyone singing, dancing, performing and having fun then put some high heel booties on and eyelashes then do the show! It’s Show time Kids! It’s Joy House Family Fun for Everyone! Even on Xmas Eve after having so much fun with the kids and Santa this week Miss Joy is home at The Joy House with her animals editing and visualizing! She truly believe it’s up to us to make our dreams come true! Love all the kids I teach and I love the directors of the schools I teach at they are the ones that let me do what I do with the kids. It’s there in class with the kids where I am able to create and workshop new ideas and songs! This beautiful note and it’s words, (I just got this afternoon from a director of a school), are the little things that remind me and give me hope and strength to keep going and to keep believing in this fantastic place for kids called The Joy House that I imagine and I know has been and is manifesting slowly but surely as I have been teaching, writing, creating and building over these many years. Off to teach my last ballet class for the year for my little “wanna be ballerinas!” Very few truly know the work and commitment ballet takes but I just love to teach basic ballet technique to “the serious kids” in a fun creative way! I use a lot of my old music which I am reworking for The Joy House. I have so many old ballads and pop grooves!!
