Hex Ring Cat and Dog
Somehow these figs are the perfect intersection of little-kid-cuteness with baby animal cuteness. So much so that I find myself in real danger of just saying “cute” and “little” over and over again every other sentence.
I remember the first time I saw these adorable little guys - I was like wait, are they chewing on their rings? Because for some reason that was even cuter - even more little-kid like and little-critter like. Just adorable.
You can take the figs right out of their ring boxes. Their little PAWS are SO CUTE. Their little suits! Their enormous eyes with the hearts in them! MY heart!
You can see here that they’re not just gnawing on the rings, they’re just holding them up. It’s hard to take this level of cuteness. Zhehan’s wispy long hair here is just perfect.
Their little tails and little ears! The bow on Zhehan’s tail! Cute cute cute!
Cute from every angle.
The ring boxes are simple and solid. The figs don’t wedge in super solidly, which is good because it might cause some scratching. Instead you just kind of sit them in there.
Here’s an extreme closeup so you can see Junjun’s ring with its diamond. Both rings of course are engraved with their birthday numbers of 51129.
These rings are an accurate rendition of Tasaki’s hexagonal Labello rings - the plain and the 1-stone version:
Here’s a couple more angles, this time in their boxes:
And here’s them sitting snugly in their boxes, making literal heart eyes at each other...
The figs didn’t come with box cards (that I received, anyway), but the box itself was very nicely designed with more iconography. I cut up the boxes to save space, so here’s some box cards of my own I made out of the boxes:
