the thing is, it IS important to me that dean and cas get an earth-based post-canon. it is vital to me that there's windows and sunlight and porches and freckles. that they get to wield freewill in a way that beckons both risk and joy. that there's a reclamation of body as well as mind. that they get to have wonderfully petty arguments over life-and-death ones. that there are calm evenings and hectic mornings. that fundamentally, overarchingly, they're experiencing an unadulterated life of their own whim
