THE DAY was long. first the barista gave her the wrong order twice and then an asshole drove past her, creating what felt like a tsunami crashing on top of her -- needless to say , it was NOT a good day. sadie decided to do her usual; cuddle with bear while watching some kind of movie. however , on this particular day , the sun had risen and there was not a single cloud in the sky. and so, the girl decided to take her boxer and her guitar and headed to the park. playing her guitar was always a mood booster. she sat herself ( and bear ) down on a bench and began to play one of her favourite songs , not paying mind to people who passed by. this was her happy place.

“Ah, crap! I almost had it.” A laugh bubbled out of her mouth as she had missed the incoming popcorn piece. It was pretty funny to her anyhow. “I’ll try it again another time. I think I wasted enough.”

kajol really needed this. a new surrounding, new people and a new job. even if she was nervous about the entire thing. she needed a small break from the reality of her life, and covington seemed like the place to do it. she’d unpacked just enough when she arrived, and took a long needed nap. when she woke up she showered and dressed and made herself lunch, biting nervously at her lip as she approached the person sitting under a tree not too far from her apartment. “hey. sorry to disturb you but i am trying to find the police station?” she smiled, “i need to be there in half an hour.” she hoped it wasn’t too far. her first day as deputy and the last thing she wanted to be was late.

         the small tinkle of the bell on the door of the tea shop alerted seraphina of someone’s presence. it took her a couple of moments for her to be pulled from the spell she was reading, mouthing the incantation silently still as she moved from the back of the shop to the front. “ welcome, ” she greeted smoothly, taking perch on the stool behind the register. “ is there anything i can help you with ? ”

“I’m fine.” Yuushin said not wanting to take off his sunglasses. He had to prove himself to not be weak. The search of the O’reilly beta has affected his sleep. Yuushin only decided to go his recent client’s house as a distraction.  He adjusted the glasses once more. “Now how can I help you?”

         " hmm. ”  peering up at the statue where the poor soul had been suspended, lana couldn’t help but to be somewhat impressed by whoever had done it. the demon was practically purring as her dark gaze wandered over the bronzed figure, sharp eyes picking up the flecks of blood that hadn’t been able to be fully scoured. “ hmmm. how fun, ” she voiced, the sound of footfalls prompting her to turn her head slightly, “ if you’ve come for more people to abduct, i’m afraid i’m entirely too high maintenance for you to handle. ” followed by a quiet giggle, amused by her joke and the fear that a death and a few disappearances had prompted.

Raen began to pick up the missing posters in town. Isaac wasn’t missing anymore, as far as anyone knew, so why remind everyone of the vessel. He read over the poster once more. 

Missing: Isaac Waters Missing From: Covington National Symphony  Date Missing: February 12th, 2019 Age:25 Height: 5′11 Hair: Brunette (Some Highlights) Eyes: Green 

Isaac Waters was last seen during the concert in Covington on February 12th. He was wearing a gray jacket, white flannel shirt, glasses, and slacks. Isaac was also carrying a cello. 

Raen sneered as he read the description and stared at the picture. What a horrendous smile. Raen looked around and spotted a person. He sighed and faked a smile. “This is such an unflattering picture of me,” Raen said. He sighed. “I’ll be doing everyone a favor by ripping it,” Raen said ripping the poster in half. The memory of Isaac Water’s disappearance will be a blip in their existence.

         this was all getting to be a bit much.  one body found, then another; even if there had been a demon occupying the first body something needed to be done. cassia knew that the curfew was something she needed to pay attention to with the threat of jail being real, but she doubted very seriously that whoever was doing it was doing it in broad daylight while everyone was out and about. convenience had her underneath the now infamous statue at the square in record time ; nerves kept her from doing much other than staring at it with in-credulousness. a noise behind her prompted the young angel to turn quickly, eyes scanning the darkness. “ i don’t know who you are but i have . . . something and i’m not afraid to use it ! ”

         “ what do you mean last round ? it’s barely eight o ’ clock. ” this ‘ curfew ’ that had been mandated for their so called protection was more a nuisance than anything else. a couple shots of jack and a bite to eat had been all that she’d wanted. to relax from a day’s work for an hour or so without people seeking her out for a protection this or a spell for that. the legacy her family had left, helping others while doing their other deeds, was exhausting and her patience was wearing thin. “ in that case, i’d like five shots of jack daniels honey, and a plate of nachos. no chasers, chill the jack. and i’d suggest you make it quick since you’d trying to be out of here in an hour. ”
