Computer programming has evolved tremendously over the past 50-60 years. Many of us may have seen pictures of those giant computers from the 1950s or earlier. Since that time, computer hardware technology has dramatically improved, which should be quite obvious now, considering all the powerful laptops we are used to working on. In addition to advancements in PC hardware, we have also seen many new developments when it comes to computer applications and the latest software development kits (SDKs), Blockchain technology, and the data structure itself, which was actually invented by Dr. Stuart Haber and his colleagues back in the early 1990s, was meaningfully applied to launch the Bitcoin network, a peer-to-peer electronic cash system in early 2009. The emergence of distributed ledger tech (DLT)-based platforms has given rise to a wide range of computer programming applications. Following the launch of Bitcoin, the world of crypto got another big boost when Vitalik Buterin and his colleagues introduced Ethereum. They claimed that it was, in certain ways, better or more versatile than Bitcoin, because it allowed users to deploy decentralized applications (dApps). With Ethereum, which is a Turing Complete language, software architects are able to build advanced software applications that include smart contracts. Although many experienced ETH developers like Vlad Zamir have noted that instead of calling them “smart contracts,” they should be called stored procedures, they have provided a lot of functionality. For example, it is possible to write programs using Solidity that allows users to program complex terms and conditions. With computer languages like Solidity, it is possible to create a wide range of applications that can provide a diverse set of use-cases. But how does one learn Solidity? One of the best ways to learn a new programming language is to learn the fundamentals first. Learn the Fundamentals Computer science and computer programming fundamentals do not change too much from one language to another. For example, Solidity is an object-oriented, high-level language for writing smart contracts which are programs that “govern the behavior of accounts within the Ethereum state.” What this means is that Solidity may be similar in some ways to C++ or Java, which are also object-oriented languages. So if someone has mastered the fundamentals of these older programming languages, then they can apply the same concepts to learn Solidity a lot faster. Essentially, computer programs are a set of instructions that may be written using If statements, looping structures, functions, and various other data structures that are quite similar across different programming languages. So if we can learn and master the basics, then we will be able to learn other more advanced concepts a lot quicker and more in-depth. Taking Online Courses Since we’re all living in the digital age, it’s easier than ever to interact with people online. We can easily join special interest groups on Facebook or even choose to follow special accounts on Twitter and LinkedIn. Usually, we will find many influencers or knowledgeable experts who will provide us a free-of-cost and informative video tutorial on just about any topic we can think of. And of course, we can take many engaging courses on Solidity via Udemy or other online portals. Start to Actively Participate in Hackathons In addition to becoming involved in the activities mentioned above, you may be interested in potentially earning sizable rewards for becoming a highly-skilled Solidity programmer. An excellent way to really master Solidity could involve taking part in a hackathon, specifically the Metis hackathon. The team behind Metis Layer-2, Optimum Rollup solutions for Ethereum will be conducting an engaging hackathon event that will let program participants earn a share of $1 million in crypto tokens. Metis is an innovative project because they offer unique opportunities to develop a wide range of dApps and you can also choose to take part in charitable initiatives.
By participating in this hackathon, you would have the chance to refine and master those Solidity programming skills. For more details on this hackathon, click here. Check Out How Other Programmers Write Code If you want to become a highly-skilled developer, then you can start reviewing all the great source code that has been uploaded to Github repositories. You’re really blessed and lucky if you have chosen to become a blockchain and smart contract developer because there’s a ton of open-source code available for you to review. You can definitely become an expert Solidity programmer by reading all the technical documentation and source code available for free. By simply seeing how others write programs, you can pick up all the tricks and standard ways of writing basic to advanced software applications.

Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies: The Future of CSE

If you’re diving into computer science engineering (CSE), you’ve probably heard whispers about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. They’re not just buzzwords—they’re shaping how we think about tech, money, and trust. Let’s chat about why this could be a big deal for your future, especially if you’re eyeing the best colleges in Bhubaneswar to kickstart your journey.
What’s the Deal with Blockchain?
Imagine a digital ledger that no one can mess with—that’s blockchain in a nutshell. It’s a way to record transactions or data securely, where every step is visible but tamper-proof. Think of it like a shared notebook that everyone in a group can see, but only certain people can write in. This tech powers cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, but its uses go way beyond digital cash. From tracking supply chains to securing medical records, it’s opening doors in ways we’re just starting to explore.
For CSE students, this means learning skills that are in high demand. Companies are looking for folks who can build decentralized apps or ensure data stays safe. It’s not just coding—it’s about understanding systems that don’t rely on a single point of failure.Â
Why Cryptocurrencies Matter
Cryptocurrencies are like digital money that runs on blockchain. They let you send value across the world without banks, which is a game-changer for places with shaky financial systems. But it’s not all about buying crypto—understanding how they work can lead you to jobs in fintech, cybersecurity, or even policy-making. The market’s growing fast, with global crypto transactions hitting over $3 trillion in 2023, according to Statista. That’s a lot of opportunity knocking!
As a CSE student, you could work on wallet apps, smart contracts, or even help businesses adopt this tech. It’s hands-on stuff that could set you apart when you graduate.
How This Fits into Your CSE Path
So, how do you get into this? Start with the basics—data structures, algorithms, and networking. Then, dig into blockchain concepts like consensus mechanisms (how nodes agree on data) and cryptography (keeping it secure). Online platforms like Coursera offer courses from universities like Princeton, and they’re a great way to build skills without breaking the bank.
If you’re in Bhubaneswar, the best colleges in Bhubaneswar, like those with strong CSE programs, can give you a solid foundation. Look for places with labs where you can experiment with blockchain tools like Ethereum or Hyperledger. Practical experience beats theory any day when it comes to landing jobs with companies like Infosys or Wipro, which are exploring blockchain solutions.
Challenges and Opportunities Ahead
It’s not all smooth sailing. The crypto world can be volatile—prices swing wildly, and regulations are still catching up. In India, the Reserve Bank of India has been cautious, but the 2023 crypto framework shows a willingness to adapt. This means job security might depend on staying updated, but it also opens doors for innovation. You could be the one designing systems that governments or banks rely on!
On the flip side, the demand for blockchain pros is soaring. A 2023 report from LinkedIn listed it among the top emerging jobs, with salaries in India ranging from ₹6-15 lakhs annually for entry-level roles. That’s a solid start, and with experience, you could climb higher.

How to start trading forex: A To-Do List to Become a Confident Trader

If you’ve ever thought about trading but don’t know where to start, you’re not alone. Many people are curious about how to trade forex, crypto, or other assets but feel overwhelmed by all the information out there.
Don’t worry - getting started is simpler than you might think. In this guide, We’ll break down the process into easy-to-follow steps, from learning the basics of trading to building the confidence to make smart decisions in the market.
With the help of this tiny but powerful guide, you’ll have a solid plan for how to start trading, learn the essentials, and become a confident trader.
Understanding the Basics of Trading
Before diving into the world of forex or crypto, it’s important to understand what trading actually is. Whether you’re trading currencies or digital assets, the goal is the same: you buy something when the price is low and sell it when the price goes up. However, there are a few key concepts you need to understand first.
What Is Forex?
Forex (short for foreign exchange) is the market where currencies are traded. It’s the largest financial market in the world, with trillions of dollars exchanged daily. Traders buy one currency while selling another in the hopes that the value of the currency they bought will increase compared to the one they sold.
For example, if you think the Euro will increase in value compared to the US Dollar, you would buy Euros and sell Dollars. If the Euro does rise in value, you can sell your Euros and make a profit from the difference.
What Is Crypto?
Cryptocurrency (often referred to as crypto) is a digital or virtual form of currency that uses cryptography for security. Unlike traditional currencies like the US Dollar or Euro, crypto isn’t issued or controlled by a central bank. Instead, it operates on decentralized networks like blockchain technology. The most popular cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Just like with forex, the goal in crypto trading is to buy low and sell high. But be aware - crypto is highly volatile, meaning prices can rise or fall dramatically in a short period.
How Does Trading Work?
In both forex and crypto markets, you’re trading assets with the aim of making a profit. In forex, you’re trading one currency for another. In crypto, you’re buying and selling digital coins. You can trade these assets through brokers (in forex) or exchanges (in crypto). The key is understanding what moves the market. Factors such as economic data, global events, and even social media can influence prices.
Steps to Start Forex Trading From Scratch
Now that you have a basic understanding of what forex trading is, how do you actually begin? Let’s go through the process step by step.
Choose a Reliable Broker
Before you can start trading forex, you’ll need to choose a broker. A broker is a platform that gives you access to the forex market. When selecting a broker, make sure they’re regulated, have good reviews, and offer a user-friendly platform. Some brokers also provide educational resources and demo accounts, which are extremely useful for beginners.
Look for a broker with low spreads (the difference between the buy and sell price), as this will reduce your trading costs. Also, ensure they offer a good customer support team, in case you run into any issues.
Be sure to check out how to choose a reliable forex broker before starting your trading journey!
Learn Forex Trading Step by Step
You wouldn’t jump into a car and start driving without lessons, right? The same goes for trading forex. Start by learning the fundamentals - understand how currency pairs work, learn about leverage (which allows you to control a large position with a smaller amount of money), and familiarize yourself with forex terminology like "pips" and "lots."
Many brokers offer free forex trading lessons for beginners, or you can find countless tutorials online. Take advantage of these resources, and don’t rush the learning process. The easiest way to learn forex is by breaking it down into smaller steps, so you’re not overwhelmed with information all at once.
Practice with a Demo Account
A demo account allows you to trade with virtual money, so you can practice without risking real capital. This is one of the best ways to learn how to trade forex and get comfortable with the platform. You’ll learn how to read charts, execute trades, and manage your risk - all without any financial consequences.
Start Trading with Small Amounts
Once you feel confident using a demo account, it’s time to start trading with real money - but start small. The forex market can be volatile, and it’s easy to get emotional when your hard-earned cash is on the line. By starting with small amounts, you’ll limit your risk while you continue to learn how to navigate the market.
Steps to Start Crypto Trading
Crypto trading has exploded in popularity over the last few years, with millions of people buying and selling digital assets like Bitcoin. But how do you get started in crypto trading? Here’s what you need to do:
Choose a Secure Crypto Exchange
Just as you need a broker to trade forex, you need an exchange to trade crypto. An exchange is a platform where you can buy and sell cryptocurrencies. There are many exchanges to choose from, but it’s important to pick one that is secure, easy to use, and supports the coins you want to trade. Examples of popular exchanges include Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken.
Understand the Market
Crypto markets can be even more volatile than forex. Prices are driven by a variety of factors, including news, regulation, technology developments, and even social media hype. Understanding what causes price fluctuations will help you make informed decisions.
One thing to note is that crypto operates 24/7, unlike the forex market, which is closed on weekends. This means that price movements can happen at any time, so it’s important to stay informed and use tools like stop-loss orders to protect yourself.
Start Small and Learn the Basics
As with forex, it’s crucial to start with a small investment when you’re learning how to start crypto trading from scratch. Crypto can be very volatile, so you should only invest what you can afford to lose. Focus on learning how the market works and understanding key concepts like blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and altcoins.
Building Confidence as a Trader
Trading can be intimidating at first, but confidence comes with experience and knowledge. Here are a few tips to help you become a confident trader:
Use a Demo Account
Before putting real money on the line, practice with a demo account. This will give you hands-on experience with market conditions and trading tools. It’s one of the easiest ways to learn forex and crypto trading without any financial risk.
Stick to a Trading Plan
One of the biggest mistakes new traders make is trading based on emotion. To avoid this, create a clear trading plan that outlines your goals, risk tolerance, and strategy. Decide in advance how much you’re willing to risk on each trade and when you will enter and exit positions. By sticking to your plan, you’ll avoid making impulsive decisions based on short-term market movements.
Learn to Read Charts and Analyze Trends
Charts are essential tools for traders. Learning how to understand forex charts for beginners can be the difference between a successful trade and a bad one. Crypto charts can be tricky too, but once you understand key concepts like support and resistance levels, moving averages, and candlestick patterns, you’ll be better equipped to spot profitable opportunities.
Stay Informed and Keep Learning
The financial markets are constantly changing, so it’s important to stay updated on the latest news and trends. Subscribe to reliable news sources, follow expert traders, and keep learning new strategies. Whether it’s forex or crypto, markets evolve, and so should your approach to trading.
How Long Does It Take to Learn Forex or Crypto Trading?
One popular question we often hear is, "How long does it take to learn forex trading or crypto trading?" The truth is, there’s no fixed timeline. Some traders spend months or even years honing their skills, while others might feel confident after just a few weeks of practice. The best way to learn forex or crypto trading is to be consistent and patient. Don’t rush the process - take your time to understand how the markets work, practice with demo accounts, and start small when you trade with real money.
Final Thoughts
Learning how to trade forex, crypto, or any other asset doesn’t have to be complicated. It all starts with understanding the basics, choosing the right platforms, and practicing with a demo account before you risk any real money. Over time, as you gain more experience and stick to your trading plan, you’ll build the confidence needed to make smart, informed decisions in the market.
Remember, every expert trader was once a beginner. The key to success is staying disciplined, continuing to learn, and always managing your risk. Soon, you’ll be trading with confidence and navigating the markets like a pro!
Thank you, Noirbull

Smart Contract Development Tools and Frameworks How to Use Them?
smart contract development applications are presented as the disruptive tool that could redefine transactions and contractual agreements.

Choose your language
Use an IDE
Test your code
Deploy your contract
Update your contract

1.Choose your language
Before extending smart contracts, selecting a programming language that can meet your requirements is the first thing that you need to do. The reason behind this is that different blockchains support varying languages; thus, you should think about how each option compares in terms of compatibility, functionality and safety. For instance, Ethereum supports Solidity which is an advanced level language meant solely for smart contracts while there is also Vyper that is much easier and more secure. On the other hand, Cardano, Polkadot as well as Tezos embrace languages that are either based on or compatible with Haskell, Rust and OCaml respectively. When selecting any of these languages, you should take into account the availability of documentation as well as tutorials and other community resources.
2. Use an IDE
An incorporated development environment (IDE) is a software tool that offers a handy and person-pleasant interface for writing, checking out, and debugging code. Using an IDE assists you to save time and avoid mistakes while growing Smart contracts. There are many IDEs available for smart settlement improvement, along with Remix, Truffle, Hardhat, and Visual Studio Code. Each IDE has its own functions, advantages, and disadvantages, so you should examine them and choose the one that fits your workflow and goals. For instance, Remix is a web-based IDE that lets you put in writing, assemble, and set up Smart contracts directly for your browser, whilst Truffle is a framework that offers a collection of gear for trying out, deploying, and coping with Smart contracts on diverse networks.
3. Test your code
Verifying your programming is essential for ensuring that your smart contracts are high quality and safe. This is because smart contracts cannot be modified or undone; therefore, any faults or weaknesses could have grave repercussions. As such, you must test your code extensively prior to deploying it on the mainnet.
There are several tools and frameworks that can be used for testing your code such as
Ganache,
Mocha,
Waffle and
MythX.
The implications of these tools and frameworks is that one can create a simulated or private blockchain environment, run unit tests, code analysis and detect potential issues. In addition, it is essential to research smart contract development best practices and standards such as using the latest compiler version, avoiding complex logic and observing coding conventions.
4. Deploy your contract
Once you have examined your code and tested its functionality and protection, you could install your smart contract on the mainnet. To try this, you need to have a pocket that can engage with the blockchain Development network, inclusive of
Metamask,
Geth, or
Parity.
You also need to have a few cryptocurrency to pay for the gasoline expenses, which are the expenses of executing transactions at the community. Depending on the network congestion and the complexity of your settlement, the fuel charges can range significantly. You can use tools which include Gas Station Network or Gas Now to estimate and optimize the fuel charges. You have to additionally screen the fame and overall performance of your settlement after deployment, the usage of equipment inclusive of Etherscan, Tenderly, or Blockscout.
5. Update your contract
Although Smart contracts are immutable through layout, there can be situations where you need to replace or adjust your settlement. For instance, you may want to restore a worm, upload a characteristic, or exchange a parameter. To try this, you want to apply a clever agreement upgradeability pattern, that is a way that permits you to alternate the logic or state of your agreement without affecting its deal with or facts. There are one-of-a-kind kinds of upgradeability patterns, inclusive of proxy, delegatecall, and diamond. After reviewing every example, it can be concluded that they all have some good and bad things, thus one is obliged to deeply think about this trade-off when choosing among them in regards to: flexibility vs. security vs. simplicity. Moreover, you should also adhere to guidelines and best practices which promote smart contract upgradability like OpenZeppelin Contracts or Upgrades Plugins.
6. Learn from others
One of the exceptional procedures to improve your smart agreement improvement capabilities and understanding is to take a look at others. You can be part of online communities, boards, and corporations wherein you could ask questions, percent ideas, and get remarks from unique builders. You can also examine blogs, articles, and books that cover diverse topics and elements of clever settlement development.
Benefits of using Smart contract:
Elimination of Intermediaries
Trust and transparency
Efficiency
Security
The future of smart contracts
Argentina and the world over the future of smart contracts seems bright regarding continuous technology advancement and a growing quest for exploring them. Their uptake may also fast track as mainly issues against them are resolved thereby changing different industries and racket the way we carry out deals.
Importance of smart contract applications
Digital transactions can always be made more efficient, transparent and secure with smart contracts.
