Astro Colony
So, huh, blueprints, right?
I extended the front of Rama out by five, all the way around, then deleted the inner four.
Then put up (after realizing I needed to go into Research and "buy" Blueprints, and after realizing I needed to hit K and poke around in the new stuff) a bounding box, extended it to cover the whole slice...
Then selected the origin of the BB and hit F.
Bang, in the Blueprint Editor (which, admittedly, took a minute for me to figure out how to exit Edit Mode so I could rename said blueprint)...
Then I duplicated it, added power lines and solar, and saved that under a slightly different name.
Also, a mining platform to slap onto new planetoids, to save time. Thank the lord (or more accurately, Tefel).
New doors, with the sides included (so when it's open we don't see the doors poking out the edges).
Downside is that if there isn't a floor directly overhead, there's a gap, which blows, but it's minor.
Mind you, my original what-looked-like-concrete floors are now a dark scuffed-up metal, but whatever. I have no idea how to save that variant, naturally.
But since I blueprinted the slice, it shouldn't matter? Same with the black wall? IDEK.
In theory these blueprints are somewhere on my hard drive, but... I'm not seeing them in AppData\Local\AstroColony\Saved\SaveGames\BlueprintLibraries.
Okay, never mind. I had to save each as a collection. Though, in this case, I saved both the original slice + the power slice as Rama. Then saved the mining outpost on its own.
