I painted more hummingbirds. This is a Blue-throated Mountain-gem. It’s the largest hummingbird coming to the U.S. (Texas, Arizona). The flower is blue salvia or black and blue salvia. I planned only one painting but a big mistake was made (happens frequently) but to my surprise I was later able to cover the mistake and I must credit a white posca pen.
