Imagine stumbling upon an old picture from Anon's school days. Scrawny, awkward, standing off to the side in the class photo hoping no one will notice him. Wearing a jacket that's too big, barely smiling.

"Oi! Stop diggin' through my stuff, ya prat."

He stuffs the photo back in the drawer where it belongs, but you're observant. You catch the way his shoulders hunch and his eyes avoid the part of the photo he's in. He clearly doesn't like it, but he doesn't just throw it away either. That shy, awkward boy who craves connection is still in there, deep inside, still hopeful that someone will come along who understands him.

Now that you know it's there, you catch glimpses of that boy sometimes. Anon looks at you from the corner of his eye when he tells a joke, waiting to see if you'll laugh and feeling relief when you do. The way he shifts his weight or fidgets with whatever is in his hand when the conversation lulls and he's thinking of another way to fill the silence. Another way to keep you entertained enough that you'll stay. Luckily for him, you love his shy side just as much as his goofy jokester side.

-This man will listen to anything that isn't straight-up brainrot.

-Though he usually listens to classical or orchestra music, he doesn't like lingering on lyrics for too long.

-Would you be surprised if I told you he listens to heavy metal? I think he likes seeing the limits on what people would listen to. Many people (including me lmao) can't handle heavy metal due to how loud it is. He finds it interesting that people make music like that.

-Listens to a lot of game soundtracks, usually instrumental. But he's up to listening to new things.

-The opposite of Cole, cannot handle heavy metal for the life of him. It distracts him too much and he hates that.

-Usually listens to the Minecraft soundtrack (specifically Mice on Venus) when he's trying to sleep. He can be called a nerd over and over yet never back down on his opinions. He likes the nostalgia and calm melody of the song, so of course he's gonna use it to conk out after a 6-hour game session.

Ferris💼

-Listens to the most random songs. He doesn't even have a favorite genre.

-Anything with lyrics will do. He wants to drown out the noises of Patricia complaining about her diet.

-Probably listens to hold music outside of work. He's gotten so used to hearing it at work that he plays it at home by habit, then he wonders why he's on hold when he didn't have a call. He doesn't mind it, though. Well, it's not like he even notices most of the time.
