Given my obsession with boba tea, I thought of a cute name for a tea shop called “Boba Constrictor” (or 蚺蛇珍珠奶茶 in Chinese) and decided to have as much fun with it as possible. I also designed it to be as real as possible, which meant creating a range of flavor designs and Boba Constrictor merch. The online merch store allowed me an opportunity to start using TikTok and to take a deep dive into the world of Kpop. I’ve now become an unapologetic Red Velvet stan.
