What's On My Night Table?
Hello my dove’s! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week! As it was the first week back from Christmas break, I’ve been pretty busy getting back in to the groove of things, and now that second semester has rolled around, things in school are about to start heating up, but that’s for a later post!
I am a lover of books. In the summer I can probably read a book (400 pages) a day and wouldn’t get…

Book of awesome - My own creation
Feeling good is all you want.
You can't take it anymore, it's hot and your feet hurt. Every step you take makes it harder and harder to walk. You feel like giving up and running back to shelter, but you won't give up. Not today. You tell yourself a few more steps and it'll all be better. HOT, HOT, HOT on your feet! But then, there it is, that moment you've been waiting for. That moment when your feet won't be on that burning hot sand. You've finally reached the water. Refreshing, cold water.
AWESOME!

Senior Year Speech Wrap-Up and Old Town Adventure
First off, I'd like to say I FRIGGIN LOVE THE SENIOR GIFTS!! LIKE HOLY FRIGGIN CRAP THEY'RE AMAZING.
The banquet itself was a lot of fun.  Most of the seniors sat together, eating, laughing, being extremely silly (Mr. Tong kept asking us if we were drinking or something).  The food was pretty darn good (by the way, the banquet was at Buca in Pasadena) and pretty filling, at least for me.  Then again, I don't eat much, but I digress.
Awards were given out (congrats to y'all) and speeches were given (well DUH! We're speechies!) and new captains were announced (congrats to you kiddos!).
After the banquet, some of us seniors went on an adventure throughout Old Town.  I'd first like to say that JIMMY LIANG is a liar when he said that his house is THREE BLOCKS AWAY FROM BUCA.  THAT IS NOT TRUE.  IT WAS LIKE SUPER FRIGGIN FAR.  Our (the girls that were there) feet started hurting a lot.  Mine still do.  But the painful feet lead to a funny story.
Once we got to Jimmy's house, we put our senior gifts down and freshened up and walked back to Old Town (which took another forever).  We went to Crossroads (took a bunch of awesome picks), went to Cotton On (took some more awesome picks along with the shoe story I will talk about later), went to H&M (more awesome pictures and we dressed up the guys (pokebrian3).  Their outfits looked pretty good, if I do say so myself), went to Forever21 (took more awesome picks and dressed up the girls this time), went back to Cotton On (will be explained in the upcoming story), and then bought some delicious gelato.
Ok, Cotton On story.
So, one of our friends, Daisy (bookofawesome), wore these flats that were killing her feet, so we went to Cotton On and she bought flip flops.  Upon purchase, there was this cashier #1 (who the girls collectively agreed that he was cute) and another cashier #2 standing on the side ringing up the items.  We were pretty derpy and the cashier asked if our friends were always like this, and Daisy and I were like, "Yea."  Cashier #1 and #2 were pretty cool and talked to us and all.  So after everyone paid, Cat (eatmyshoe) asked the cashier, "What's your name?" and he said, "Christian."  Then she asked him if Daisy could have his number, and before he could respond, Daisy kinda pushed us all out of the store haha!  A saleslady said bye to us (she's important.  Remember her).  After that, Sharon (bookofawesome), Daisy, and Cat kept talking about Christian and how we were gonna go back and ask Christian for his number.  So we did, and the same saleslady said, "Hey.  Welcome back!"  Then Cat approached her and asked her if Christian was single, and the lady asked, "Who wants to know?" and we pointed to Daisy.  The lady even went up to Christian and asked him stuff (I'm not sure what), and she reported to us that he said that he's talking to a girl and he wants to see how it would go with her.
So we left, with no number for Daisy, but with a hell of an adventure.
