Life lessons I have not learned but know I need to: Not everyone obsesses over agreements and responsibilities like I do to the point of ‘forgetting I agreed to something’ has only been something I’ve done a handful of times in my life. This is extremely exacerbated when it comes to agreeing to do things for other people even for the most mundane things. Most people in fact just forget things.

#it's bordering on unhealthy for me tbh #like even if I don't have a hard deadline the things I've agreed to do for other people haunt me until I complete them #I cannot forget nor give up on them #so when others who've agreed to do things for me laugh it off with 'I forgot' I just stare at them like 😐#I know this is probably the truth but I am so physically incapable of it I think they're saying 'fuck you I just don't want to do it'#when that is most likely not the case #but I want to scream because how can you forget???#you agreed!#and I just end up anxious and debating whether or not to keep sending emails and messaging like...#deadlines passed why don't I have the thing #the thing you agreed to do for me #if you're not going to do it TELL ME #this is about work stuff #but you can imagine it also made me looove group projects in school #I was a perfectionist overachiever who did everyone's work because I knew they would disappoint me #went to school say no one had done anything they'd said they'd do so just pulled out my folder so I wouldn't get fucked over bc of them #both in primary and uni: which is sadder I ask?
