Hi uh, my applin has been eating through the fruit I get her really quickly lately and is upset that she’s too big to fit in the fruits I usually get her. I’m a first time applin owner and I’m not sure if she’s about to evolve or just had a growth spurt.

Yeah, she's ready to evolve. Different types of apples lead to different evolutions. Offer her large amounts of different types of apples. Tart ones like granny smiths lead to flapple, sweet ones like braeburn or royal gala lead to appletun. If she chooses one flavour over another, she wants to make her own choice and you should let her. If she goes through them indiscriminately, she doesn't much mind and you can choose which form you'd like her to take.

19. What are some of your Pokémon that you remember the nicknames of?

I don't always nickname my Pokemon, only if inspiration strikes, but some I recall are:

Astaridae the Starmie (genus for a sunflower sea star) Galahad the Corviknight Braeburn the Appletun Pink Lady the Flapple Wick the Chandelure Rave the Staraptor Bottles the Excadrill

And then in Pokemon GO I give every Taurus a dirty hookup app username (Hung 9", Stuff Me) and every Venusaur gets named after a plant (Miss Lettuce, Radicchio, Garlic Boy, Brussels)

23. What is your favorite pikaclone?

Either Dedenne or Togedemaru!

My team on Pokemon Sword at the moment (it’s more than 6 cus I shift them in and out depending on the situation) is, roughly in order of when I got them:

Gerad the Galarian Linoone (I only found out today that he needs to level up at night to evolve into Obstagoon, so I will evolve him later...)

Dawson the Bewear (named after my teddy bear!)

Crystal the Galarian Rapidash (recieved from my Shield-owing boyfriend; also named after my unicorn plushie!)

They’re all amazing and I adore them! Impurrvus one-hit KO’d Opal’s gigantamax Alcremie earlier :D Next I’m gonna get my hands on a Snom because 1. ice moths are the ideal pokemon imo and 2. I need something to help me take down the dragon-type gym eventually! (Crystal currently knows absolutely no Fairy-type moves, and he might not stay on my team anyway, I haven’t decided yet.)
