     Peace and quiet. Angela required it in particularly large doses, especially since beginning to work at the hospital as a doctor again. Working with people and tending to their needs was her greatest passion, but she could not deny the effect of the stress on her mental state. Clearing her mind under the beauty of the cherry blossoms in Cotes was the perfect antidote as the sun set on Spirale; taking out the small bag of lettuce that she had purchased at the market, she approached the lake, admiring the bright colors of the koi within it. Piece by piece, she fed the lettuce to the fish, breathing in the cool evening air, watching them swim and fight for the food she provided. A woman sat just a few feet away, looking upon the lake just as she did — with a smile, Angela held the bag of lettuce out to the woman, offering to share it. 

      “Would you like some as well? There are so many fish, I can’t seem to feed them fast enough.” She presented the offer with a genuine smile, hand remaining extended outwards. Whether or not the woman wanted to partake in what may have been a silly and futile activity, Angela thought it would be rude to ignore her presence nonetheless.

     Well, while the festivities excited Hana, they certainly were not quiet on this night. Power ballads- were they your fancy- were encouraged, but the belting screechy of this performer’s timbre prompted her to get a little space and seat herself next to a woman who looked far more concerned with her surroundings, as well as the crowd, rather than any of the performances. Laying a hand on the other woman’s shoulder, Hana offered a tentative smile.

     “Hey, you okay? You look a little... spaced out, I guess.”

     Sakura’s heart fluttered once she spotted the bright flash of red — to see Hinoka again, in this place, it was as if a dream had come true. Beside herself, her walking pace picked up to a jog, and then a run as Hinoka turned the corner. Despite not being one to make a scene, Sakura was too occupied with the idea that this might be her sister to care about the strangers spectating her exasperated hurrying. 

     Catching up to her, the princess attempted to catch her breath, hands resting on her thighs to steady herself. As soon as she was able, she looked up at her sister, bright smile shining for what was probably the first time since arriving here.

     “H-Hinoka... it’s really you...! I’m so glad I found you...”

Slender fingers embrace the Hoshidan princess’ forearm awaiting for the other’s response Camilla merely chuckles. “ Now, don’t be shy. ”

seriously i was so convinced for like five seconds it was elincia but that five seconds was enough to send me off the wall. while i’d be really picky and reserved on tellius remakes because i don’t want any content taken out, if this is like a pre-tellius or something i’d want to see the origin stories and you know laguz but - somehow i doubt it. it seems like it’s own stand alone.

NONE OF THIS MADE ANY SENSE. the binary, this entity above the hole making declarations, absolutely none of it. But the prospect of death here, now, it wasn’t a prospect he wanted to take.

He’d go along with this farce, if only because he had no other options. He’d had some encounters with family members already in this wasteland--this seemed like the most intuitive place to look.

Given he was, well, actually able to find them again. 

He elbowed through the crowd, just barely catching sight of a familiar head of hair and further making his way through the crowd in Hinoka’s direction. 

“HINOKA!” There was a considerable amount of clamor, but it did little to wane Ryoma’s voice. It’d take more than a rowdy crowd to drown him out. He’d eventually close the distance considerably more. “Hinoka--can I lend my assistance to you for this task?”

He is merely an angry man inside - swinging with a honed grace of his divine blade. When the First Princess of Hoshido approaches, Ike does little but silently acknowledge her, gesturing to the training post beside him.

What words could truly be afforded after all they had done yet had not been enough? Was there any denying his comrades-in-arms were not in low morale?
