Bronwyn Katz - Vrug, 2017 Salvaged bed springs and mattress (private collection) @bronwyn.katz will be one of the 2018 SAM Art Projects residents. Bronwyn Katz’s oeuvre incorporates sculpture, installation, video and performance. Within the framework of her artistic practice, material acts as a repository of memory. The artist is interested in the notions of objects, people and spaces as lived. She is a founder member of iQhiya, a 11-women art collective based in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
