Biography

moved to huntsville with his at the time wife and took a job as the funeral director, death and things like that never really bothered him. he knew it was a part of life and if he could help them rest in the afterlife then that's what he wanted to do.

his wife and him had been together for a long time at that point, obviously having already been married at the time they decided they wanted to start trying for a baby. when they found out she couldn't get pregnant they decided to adopt because he didn't care if the baby was blood or not he just wanted a family with her. they adopted fern as a baby from a couple who wasn't ready to have a child both financially and mentally but they never hid the adoption from her.

bruno spoiled fern and basically gave her whatever she wanted within reason, it was always under the premise of seeing her work for it and thinking she'd done enough to earn it. i.e: good grades, helping around the house etc

bruno and his wife had split before the paradox happened and instead of them forcing fern into living with one of them they gave her the option to stay in huntsville with him or move out of town with her mom but she ultimately chose him.

he didn't pass the funeral director position to her until she wa old enough and had expressed enough interest in it and had her working along side with him to learn everything she needed to and when he felt she didn't need him anymore to run the place she gave the position fully to her and moved on to the retirement home so he could still have something to do with his time

is a fairly chill dude, can have a temper with anyone who isn't his daughter and is also a workaholic

will in fact kill for fern if someone even attempts to put their hands on her with ill intentions
