I usually don't have much of an ear for composers but I was rewatching the Battlestar Galatica (2004) miniseries like "hey the score is really good, is that Bear McCreary?" and it was! there's no point to this post I'm just very excited about it

#i love bear mccreary (bc of black sails) and battlestar galactica and also being right about things so this is very exciting for me #bsg gets kind of weird towards the end but the miniseries and the first couple of seasons are really good #in case this post somehow tempts someone into watching it you have to start with the miniseries before the regular show #if you like the people being miserable on ships (in this case space ships)#and the (seemingly) unwinnable wars from black sails you'll probably like battlestar galactica #kvetch oc
