The new Epson receipt printer (M267D) just landed — and it’s already saying more than expected.

Light / Dark (contrast, paradox, print density of thought) Receive Buffer Full (mind too full to process new input — especially sound) Busy Condition (always running, always decoding, never quite resting) Disabled (depending how you read it — might offend some, not me) Status lights: Error. Paper. Feed. Error = the way we process Paper = the zine itself Feed = Tumblr (or maybe memory)

Still not hooked up, still silent — but it’s already part of the glitch lab. There’s something comforting about this analog brain: warm paper, clipped text, silent hum of something trying to say something.

Soon it’ll be printing signal // noise fragments. Maybe even the noise itself.
