Taking a moment to recognise 2 of the most important creatures in my life. Every morning Rob's greeted like this by our Betty, the second his eyes open she's on him. Warns my heart watching it. Sometimes she'll start sleeping on her back, on him, other times more dogs join her. It finally happened!!! Though the photo is awful... they lay down together in the same direction and in size order Moo the staffie nearest the camera, Betty the bulldog centre and Tony (the pony-Thor) at the top. Obvs Tony is on his back... and a sleeping hubby to boot. Today I gotta celebrate this fella. Yeah this is my business page but dogs deserve celebration. Ours saved us from our mental health overwhelming us. This guy in particular. He has no idea how big he is, he sits on your lap, chases shadows and lights and tries so hard to be a "good boy" he is the BEST boy. Best behaved out of the lot... except when left alone too long then he "digs" the cushions off the bed and pees on them... but there are washing machines and we know its cos he misses us. He came to us from a loving family whose change of circumstances meant they couldn't keep him anymore. As hard as it is a responsible owner always puts their dogs welfare first His first mummy still keeps in touch to this day. We named him Thor but as with all our dogs he gained a nickname very quickly his is "Tony the pony" cos of his sheer size. He is a rather big rottweiler. He's 6 years old this year and staying to get a grey chin and a touch of arthritis so he's getting a bit grumpy too, so we give him his space and are carful not to get too rough with the petting and play. He's like the son I never had and I just adore the big twat. He has taken to sleeping like this lately so I just had to share.
