Mit 1:4 geht der Club auch noch beim HSV unter, der schon nichts mehr zu gewinnen oder verlieren hatte. Es ist ein Ende, das sinnbildlich für den größten Teil der Saison steht. Die begann einigermaßen erbaulich, hatte sogar eine ganz kurze Phase, in der so manch eine:r vom Aufstieg fabulierte. Und stürzte dann rapide ab – so weit, dass wir uns bis einen Spieltag vor Schluss Sorgen um einen Abstieg machen musste. Die Gründe werden noch analysiert, einen Schuldigen (Dieter Hecking) hat man bereits gefunden und zur Verantwortung gezogen.

Zum Spiel. Das begann fast direkt mit einem unglücklichen Rückpass von Marquez, den HSV-Torjäger Glatzel dankend annahm und direkt zum 1:0 einnetzte. Doch der Club bewies Moral und erholte sich gut von diesem Gegentreffer. Nach ein paar gescheiterten Versuchen trat Schleimer in der 16. Minute ins Rampenlicht und platzierte einen Kopfballaufsetzer unter die Latte, um die Partie wieder ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen. Doch das war nur ein kurzes Aufatmen, denn postwendend lud man die Hamburg erneut zum Toreschießen ein. Innerhalb von sechs Minuten zischten zwei weitere Bälle ins Netz. Mit dem 3:1-Halbzeitstand hatte der HSV die Kontrolle über das Spiel.

Im zweiten Durchgang konnten sich die Club-Spieler zwar etwas stabilisieren, entscheidende Akzente setzten sie jedoch nicht. Die meisten Angriffsversuche im zweiten Durchgang blieben nur Versuche. Benes’ Kopfball aus fünf Metern Entfernung in der 57. Minute und Castrops Pfostentreffer in der Nachspielzeit waren die einzigen Highlights einer sonst ereignisarmen zweiten Hälfte. Am bitteren Ende markierte Glatzel seinen dritten Treffer vom Punkt, nachdem Jeltsch ihn im Strafraum zu Fall gebracht hatte.

Jetzt sind ein paar Monate Pause. Zeit, um sich zu sortieren und einen großen Umbruch zu bewerkstelligen. Es gibt zahlreiche Abgänge, aber noch kaum vermeldbare neue Mannschaftsmitglieder. Es deutet alles daraufhin, dass Sportdirektor Olaf Rebbe und Trainer Christian Fiél sich um die Zusammenstellung des Teams kümmern werden; was gleichzeitig bedeutet, dass die beiden weiter beim Club bleiben. Fehlt also nur noch ein neuer Sportvorstand. Wer auch immer das sein wird, es ist ein gutes Zeichen, dass man ansonsten auf Kontinuität zu setzen scheint. Fiél dürfte der erste Club-Trainer der Geschichte sein, der trotz einer grottigen Saison fest im Sattel sitzt und dem man den Neuanfang zutraut. Mag was damit zu tun haben, dass man mit Hecking einen Schuldigen gefunden hat. Es liegt sicher aber auch daran, dass Fiél ein fachlich guter Trainer ist, der – so die Unterstellung – bislang durch Hecking und seine Einmischungen in die Teamzusammenstellung gebremst wurde.

Nigeria Super Eagles New Players

Die Stärken

Mit 6,8 Toren pro Spiel war man 2022/23 das offensivstärkstes Team der Liga. Dazu stellte man mit nur 3,1 Gegentore gleichzeitig die defensivstärkste Mannschaft. Die Drachen aus Linz haben als Aufsteiger eine Duftmarke gesetzt und sich sofort zu einem heißen Titelanwärter entwickelt. Das inzwischen als Futsalhochburg etablierte Linz setzte auch in Sachen Zuseher neue Maßstäbe, beim ersten Linzer Derby durfte Ljuti großartige 500 Zuseher in der Halle begrüßen. Auswärts präsentierte sich das Team von Coach Elmir Omeragic sogar noch stärker, ging nur zweimal als Verlierer vom Parkett – ebenfalls Bestwert in der Liga. Insgesamt 6 Spieler scorten zweistellig, selbst Keeper Sanijel Krupic erzielte 2 Treffer.

Die Schwächen

Als der Aufsteiger bereits in Runde 1 in letzter Sekunde Rekordmeister Stella Rossa mit 1:0 in die Knie zwang, konnte man schon erahnen, dass Ljuti das Projekt Bundesliga sehr ernst nimmt. Als Sieger des oberen Play-Offs scheiterte man schlussendlich doch überraschend gegen die als Vierter gerade noch so in die Finalrunde gerutschten Wiener. Während man besonders in den „unwichtigen“ Spielen offensiv aufzeigte, wie 4 Siege im zweistelligen Bereich zeigten, konnte man schlussendlich dem Druck in den Play-Offs nicht standhalten und schied im Halbfinale aus.

Spieler im Fokus

Kenan Ramic ist Kapitän, Dreh- und Angelpunkt seiner Mannschaft. Mit 22 Toren bei 18 Einsätzen wurde er teamintern nur von Adnan Hodzic übertroffen. Dass er auch zulangen kann, beweisen seine 8 gelben und zwei gelb-roten Karten, die er in bislang 38 Bundesliga-Spielen gesammelt hat. Allerdings stellt er sich immer in den Dienst der Mannschaft, da er sowohl defensiv als auch offensiv höchsten Ansprüchen genügt. Stimmt seine Performance, dann sind die Drachen zumeist siegreich.

Insiderwissen

Obwohl die Linzer auch am Transfermarkt ordentlich zuschlagen konnten, macht man sich im Lager der Drachen bereits Gedanken über die nächsten Jahre. Hoch veranlagte Spieler nach Linz zu holen ist nicht einfach, zumal man sich noch mit Stadtrivale Diamant duellieren muss. Deshalb haben die Linzer diese Saison die Ljuti Juniors installiert, die zunächst in Freundschaftsspielen und Turnieren Erfahrungen sammeln sollen. So möchte man in Zukunft Spieler selbst ausbilden, statt sie teuer zu verpflichten.

Fazit

Ljuti hat seine Lehren aus dem verpassten Finaleinzug gezogen und mit Nermin Dzinic von Diamant sowie Nationalspieler Mirza Jatic zwei routinierte und hochveranlagte Spieler dazu geholt. Dazu wurden auch die Gebrüder Kerim und Muhamed Ramic angemeldet, die zusammen mit Kenan erstmalig in ihrer Karriere gemeinsam für Erfolge stehen sollen. Schaffen es die Linzer, dass ihnen im Endspurt dieses Mal nicht die Luft ausgeht, sind sie ernsthafter Titelanwärter. Da das Überraschungsmoment des Aufsteigers diese Saison definitiv fehlt, kann es aber auch sein, dass sich die Gegner nun besser auf die Spielweise der Linzer einstellen werden.
