watching the frontiers trailer i like to spin around this idea in my head that like... i think it would be fun if sonic was just actually alone and his friends there (like amy trapped in that bubble in the trailer) are kind of just.... constructs? from his like memories? i think with the au ik working on + vague details ive heard (and lbr: possibly misremembered) about frontiers i keep wanting them to play with sonic amnesia stuff REALLY bad. its whats most fun to me rn.

plus with all the glitchy stuff going on and those levels that seeeem to mostly be... sonics memories(?) / def based on his past at least -- i feel like its meant to like trap him in his own head.
