I genuinely feel so disconnected from people who are supposed to be from my generation. I have old man hobbies because I barely game anymore. I like word searches and logic puzzles and reading; I learned crocheting for fun. I played sudoku on a flip phone growing up. telling people I used to listen to more TØP "when I was younger" feels insane.

#recordatio mortis #and then mind you when I say “I feel ancient” they look at me like I'm talking crazy #partially my fault I suppose in certain areas of my life #anyways I have to stop saying I feel ancient #or at least disclaimer that I do not believe anything Crazy about myself just because of my name #I just like making jokes about my name! it's fun! it's silly! it adds whimsy to my life #but I digress. I was born in that awkward cusp between gen z and millennialisms #and my closest brother I have actually has the same music taste as me and he is also a millennial #the only benefit of the awkward cusp is that I do know quite a bit about technology and the like but that is about it #maybe slang but only because I have to to survive 🧍#I SHOULD get back into coding but it was never terribly interesting to me #I learned enough Python to frankenstein a bot together for Discord back in the day but it's all to the wind now
