8 days ago my longfic wip was sitting at 17k and had been for weeks, and today I passed 30k. I have no idea what changed in my brain chemistry to allow this to happen, but honestly thank fuck

#I'm trying to consistently write at least 1k a day now #in the hopes that I can get this full draft done before november #because I KNOW there won't be 50k left to complete during nano so I have rush this draft out now (since my brain is finally cooperating!)#how long will this draft be? NO idea. fingers crossed it's not going to be longer than 80k because that'll be pushing the timeline for me #but I gotta get this done before November so I swap to my OG fic and (hopefully!) finish out THAT draft then #if I manage this I am buying myself the biggest of treats come december because that'll be TWO drafts complete #fingers crossed it actually happens
