For my celebration of Halloween I’m gonna give out this list of why Ford is the Spookiest Psychic 7 member Award (doubles as an appreciation post I guess, really love his vibes with this)

Psychonauts 

That bit where Raz goes to sleep and gets the camera control tutorial. Dude, like we don’t know what’s up yet then there’s this old dude suddenly giving you info about collectables in the middle of a misty void.

Janitor Ford and Ranger Cruller, just standing in the middle of the woods at night. Wild animals don’t ever approach this guy.

“Hey where’d he go“ "How'd that old guy get around so fast" dude if you didn't know about teleportation this is freaky as hell

Also the way his teleportation is visualized isn't really clear but you can see hints of it when Raz asks for one. I mean at least Compton is like peace out static tv screen teleport, Ford just does this:

Psychonauts 2

His mind levels has got to be the spookiest level in game (aside from gristol when the music stops, but that’s mostly eerie)

Strike City - least spooky but it still had people chanting that the end of the world is coming, yet work is still going

Ford’s Follicles - spooky music and ominous vibes. Somehow feels emptier and apocalyptic despite the lice.

Cruller's Correspondence - Clerk Cruller Bot (my favourite, hardworker with pretty sick rhymes) sufficiently spooky with those his dismissive demeanor towards Letter Ford and Raz

Those inside head parts

The no head model was freaky enough, now then we got The Reveal/ Everything about it even starting from when you assembled his fragments together (like jeez his far out look as the loading screen might not have stayed for people but it did for my slow ass computer and that really set the mood)

Entirety of Tomb of Sharkaphagus

Special mention to the music box graveyard, sets the tone so much.

Made the forget part in the Forgetful Forest, which is sufficiently spooky

accompanied by the music similar to night time whispering rock music

Cassie as the Green Needle Witch. Scare those interns

Otto and the brainframe. not for the squimish

Don’t lie , you jumped when you didn’t know who kept muttering and whispering after you completed a brain level in Green Needle Gulch (talking bout Cassie and Compton, they just happen to hush down when you go near them so if you didnt hear them refer to each other you'd be o-o???)

Misc Fancontent: Hc of ford popping out of nowhere and sneaking up on people by accident [x]. Embodies this concept art well.
