The Sherlock Holmes statue is back! Finally!!
(Edinburgh is still trying so hard to be Glasgow hence the traffic cone on his head)
#he was actually reinstated a while ago I’ve just not been nearby until yesterday#sherlock holmes#acd canon#now someone needs to put a pride flag round his neck#the row of buildings behind him is Picardy place which is where acd was born#and his church is not in the picture but it’s nearby#and there are multiple gay clubs nearby which is a fun coincidence :)#he was removed for the bastard tram works#which I still don’t think are finished?#anyway don’t talk to me about the trams you will regret your decision i Hate them#also they need a Watson statue :( he’s lonely :(#*edit: I’m not sure the building he was born in is still there#it was probs demolished :(#but I will be checking the nls maps later because I’m curious
