There’s a time and a place to criticize or make fun of someone’s religion and culture, just like anything else. A family/a community still being highly psychologically distressed from shock, trauma, and grief is a good starting point with when to remind yourself to stfu with that.

#…#coming from an area with a lot of shootings and gun suicides (that’s rlly our highest stat although ppl never bring that up)#Texans know the stats and reality because we live here. if we wanted guns gone we would vote for it. but we don’t because it’s a literal #important cultural hobby here and sport and chill-out downtime and way to talk to family and friends etc.#if the minority numbers want to speak out against Texan guy laws after more trauma in a community that affects them that’s diff #but I’m exhausted with asshole liberals and lefties being more offensive and condescending to Texans than anything when a shoot is reported.#and they aren’t even Texan or living here and understanding how the cultures here are like #**gun laws #and tbfh even a lot of the cop shootings here? suicide-by-cop. there were 2 in my area that I know of last year that were big/shooter alert.#🎭👸🏻
