Reading some of the comments under Nyaa torrents reminds me of part of the reason why I've never bothered learning how to upload my own torrent files there
#like if your release isn't absolutely perfect there's a good chance some absolute basement-dwelling assholes will rip you apart#some people offer genuinely helpful constructive criticism#but Jesus some people can be so fucking rude#tbh as someone who's been in the anime/manga fandom and spaces for MANY years#I feel like certain people have this REALLY vicious sense of entitlement when it comes to volunteers who do work for the community#like they expect you to do constant unpaid work and/or produce nothing short of professional quality#and if you can't or won't they'll tell you to fuck off#let me be clear the VAST majority of anime/manga fans are super grateful and respectful towards volunteers#but I've noticed that in more 4channy spaces this entitled attitude is more common#rant#anime#manga
