I finally got my hands on a figure I've wanted for a really long time! This Sailor Moon figure is part of line from Figuarts Zero that came out a decade ago (I think it was 2014?). I've always loved these figures because they showcase the Senshi's powers. Unfortunately, I was a broke college student back in 2014 so I couldn't afford any of them, and now that I DO have money to buy figures these ones are really hard to find so many years later (let alone for a good price).

Anyway, now my Sailor Mars has a friend! Fun fact, I actually won her in a game of Sailor Moon trivia at an anime con a couple years ago. I hope I can get the rest of the set someday, or at the very least Venus!

You know what I really want to see? The Cherry Project and Toki Meca get adapted into anime! I mean c'mon! They're the only other manga by Naoko Takeuchi that are completed! I need to see more Naoko Takeuchi manga come to life in anime!!! I'm tired of seeing shounen manga get adapted into manga all the time while shoujo manga almost ALWAYS the get short end of the stick! Yes, I know shounen sells more, but I want to see more Naoko Takeuchi shoujo manga adapted into anime!!

The Cherry Project in particular would be such a cute, short shoujo romance anime! I think it would translate into a great anime.

Also, I’m still holding out for a Sailor V series or even just special.

I had the most realistic, terrifying dream of being a magical girl in the PMMM universe and having to face Walpurgisnacht 😭 the entire Quintet was with me, yet we were still losing horrendously. It was absolutely terrifying to stand amongst the rubble and see the thick, dark, ominous clouds part to show the gigantic, monstrous face of the witch sneering down at us, her humongous body looming high into the sky. I just realized the series doesn’t show how truly horrifying it would be to be in that position, especially since it has such a cute artstyle. But being in that position myself, all alone with only five 14/15 year olds to back me up, no government or outside help available or even capable of helping us, knowing that we were doomed but having no choice but to fight anyways, made me realize that it’s such a miracle that Homura didn’t despair earlier, especially considering everything else she had to deal with on top of that 💀

Damn anon, maybe you have magical girl potential! Beware if Kyubey tries to contact you, lol.
