(dark super form anon) imagine espio being the one to talk silver out of his dark form… 🥹🥹🥹 kinda sorta partial angst.

Or just complete angst :> But I think Espio would very swiftly intervene and tell Silver that he's taking things too far. Plus, I doubt Silver would ever be able to truly hurt as close a friend as Espio is, even under influence of a Dark Super form; definitely something that keeps him at least a bit in control of it all. And Espio's got enough skills and tricks up his sleeve to prevent getting hurt in the first place, so he's got enough time to talk Silver out of it and make him depower back to his normal state. I wonder who'd be more shocked about what happened: Silver or Espio?

#now I'm thinking about how likely it is that Silver fights a friend of his🤔#he fought Sonic in Gens because he considered the possibility that Sonic was an imposter out for Silver's Emerald #and definitely did not pull any punches there *gestures to Meteor Smash*#but a true fight to the death? I cannot envision he'd want to inflict that on a friend of his #though it does help that everyone in the world of Sonic is very hardy and can take lots of damage haha
