      the microphone almost hits her in the nose as she had leaned over, too used to journalists barely making the effort to hand it to her. her eyes went wide for a second as she pulled back by reflex. far from taking it badly, she laughs, amused by the situation and happy to see someone with an eagerness matching her own. tucking her bang with a finger behind her ear so it’d stay out of her face, she takes a deep breath before answering the man.  

      ‘ expectations are high on both sides! our fans have been waiting for our return. they are hungry, and so are we. ‘  she pauses, both to make herself waited and to organize her thoughts so she doesn’t slip up. even if she looks at ease, interviews are still something she struggles with.  ‘ we know we took our time to announce our comeback. but we felt it was a necessary cost when your aim is to be the top of the top. we’ve worked hard to bring the best to our fans, and if it had meant taking 6 more months or another year, i believe we would have done so. because that’s how we work. we give our hardest at all time, we pour our heart and soul into it and deliver only what we feel is the best. that’s how we are and that’s how we want k/da to be. ‘  another pause as the rogue bang is chased away from her face again.  ‘ i can’t say much about the new album without spoiling the surprise even if the wait is killing me, and trust me it does. i haven’t been able to sleep properly for weeks now, that’s how eager i am for us to reveal our new project to the world. ‘  she lets out another laugh, genuinely thrilled, before clearing her throat and straightening her position and regaining her seriousness.  ‘ what i can tell you: we’re back. it will be different from our first song, but it’s still us. we are more confident, more experienced and ready to prove it wasn’t ‘just a lucky shot’ or a ‘one hit thing’. we are back and we are going to remind everybody who’s wearing the crown ‘  her voice had gained in intensity and passion as she talked and by the end of it, she was sitting on the edge of her seat, eyes burning with a fierce fire. once done, she leans back into her chair before adding with a wink.
