#jjk spoilers#oh i just know gojo's past arc would emotionally destroy me#i found this song in a sukuna playlist but ended up associating it with geto oh and my heart hurts so bad i'm thinking of a scenario#mc's a year or two younger than geto and they have this unlabelled thing going on long before the star vessel mission but ofc everything#changes after that. geto's sinking deeper into his mind and no matter how mc reaches out to him he's just detached. unresponsive.#then comes the night geto leaves for the village mission and he's at mc's doorstep asking them to join him and mc hesitates not knowing#why he's at their door in the middle of the night. why the details of the mission were vague. they hesitate and geto notices#and he's midway thru walking away when mc runs after him. he warns them that there's no going back. mc obliges. ofc they do.#then the massacre happens and every subsequent event and mc just stands by him. they're unsure if its just geto's mere influence on them#(yk emotionally) or they were actually convinced that geto's perspective was right. that eliminating the weak would—in the long run be more#convenient. their perspective is unshaken up until rika appears and their years of evading jujutsu tech come to an end bc geto's out to get#her. by hook or by fucking crook. they try to convince geto to talk things out but man's wages a full on war on jjt and suddenly#mc's feeling sentimental. they begin to realize that they were fine with geto's ways so long as the ppl in jjt (fellow sorcerers) remained#unharmed. so long as they could co-exist in 'peace' but no. and now they're counting down the days to december 24th and they wonder#where along the way did they truly lose geto. was it on the night he knocked on her front door? was it the day he left for the star vessel#mission? was it before that? was it a little after that? where could they have changed things without knowing#and now mc's asking for one more sign to stay but they don't get it. their decision's final. they defect and side with the jujutsu society.#but for now they're sitting in a tub listening to geto entertain what he calls as monkeys in the other room and they find that leaving isn't#as easy as they imagine it to be.#toff.txt#.brainfart#jjk#geto suguru
