how long do you think until someone decries that one beloved art installation "Can't Help Myself" because it was a robot programmed to do one specific visually oriented task........ much like the nefarious where's waldo robot.

#some might argue Can't Help Myself has ''intent'' or ''deeper meaning''#but frankly the same can be applied to the where's waldo robot #like at what point is the ''intent'' of something not good enough that it no longer qualifies as art lol #okay I get I'm literally getting mad at an imaginary person but this is interesting to think about to me #how Can't Help Myself was very widely beloved to such an extent that people saw themselves in that robot #even humanizing the robot as an entity with like feelings and motivations. feeling compassion for it.#while there are people genuinely agreeing with that qrt about the where's waldo robot #being worthless and stupid. litcherally JUST BECAUSE the term ''AI'' can be found in the original post #all you people are such tools (pun intended)#txt
